I have played games with both controllers. Both are great, but he is right about the indention on the thumb sticks.
If you have played a n64 controller, it has a similar indent on the top of the thumbsticks. If you played like 12 hours with it, I can definitely see a possibility of thumb calluses forming. If MadKatz makes a "cap" for the thumbstick problem solved. THe PS4 also has an indention uses a more "rubbery" material (latex,rubber idk).
They could of capitalized on home by haing virtual trade shows like E3 and Gamescon, then have two tiers of access: Premium(SS) and free.
Free:
You get to at videos, and conferences live. Perhaps freebies like themes or enter contest to win swag(real items, not virtual).
Premium:
You load up your avatar and play "limited time" demo's just like the ones on the floor. That would of been great. No lines. You also get all of the above....
I can see the benefits for Home, HOWEVER I rather Sony spend the development and upkeep on something else such as a new Motorstorm/Socom/Syphon Filter/Jet Moto/8 Days/Wip3out+/MAG2.0/JakandDex ter/DestructionDerby/Siren/Heav enlySword2/Thelastgaurdian etc.
GTA 3 and off shoots are in a different universe. The reason behind this was to explain why the geography of Gt:San Adreas's Los Santo will be very different then the new San Andreas.
That means no San Fierro(San Fran) or Los Venturas(Las Vegas).
I figure the new San Adreas will be based off a compressed version of the real life LA and San Bernadino Counties.
I agree. I might play the heck out of the game, but I will probably get bored after a Month. If any game is more than 30 hours of fun, I feel satisfied.

Finally someone address that. The OS will be written to the HDD (despite not being able to be removed except by MS).
The 8 gig flash is a bit concerning as even the best quality flash drives have a limited read/write limit.
My guess is it used for storing background permanent information (I.e. "Software licenses") and has an advanced form of anti-hacking encryption on it. This leads me to believe that Major Nelson was rig...

I agree completely. Look at the history of AAA Exclusives the last 2 years on the 360 vs Ps3.
Who is to say, that MS will not find incentives to just rely on 3rd party again once Ms hits their internal sales forecast?

I agree. I am surprised Sony isn't really mentioning games that are coming out for the console after 6 months out.
They keep teasing they have all these games in the works to release within the first 12 months, but only say ~40% have actually been mentioned.
The last big gaming event between NOV. and E3 2014 is the VGAs. After the VGAs (December 2013) that leaves the 6 months between that event and e3 and the PS4 would be on the market for a total of 8 ...

Look right now at the amount of AAA exclusives this year alone for the PS3 vs 360. Now that the development cycles are expected to be SHORTER than the PS3. expect more games, more often.
