I got it for Christmas. The visuals and polish surpass any third person game released so far this generation. As far as people making claims about which console is more powerful between the Xbox One or Playstation 4, I must tell you that if games are looking this tight early on into the generation, who the hell cares. This game is a gem, buy it.
Inferior to what degree? Just how much more capable is a PS4 compared to an Xbox One. Tell me one game on a PS4 that can't be done on an Xbox One. What I can tell you however is that no game I have seen so far is doing what Quantum Break is doing. How is that for inferior hardware? Let it go dude.
Why do you exist?
Your sarcasm holds so much truth. It's strange how Sony's fans care so much about an Xbox One owner's purchase. I rarely see any comments from the other side complaining about someone's decision to purchase a PS4. As an Xbox One owner myself, I couldn't care less about whether the PS4 will have a console revision or its sales for that matter. I'm beginning to wonder if any of the negative comments are coming from people behind the scenes over at Sony's camp. This g...
Dude, just give it a rest. I bet a few months ago you were probably saying that you'd pick up the system if it were 299. In a few months from now you'll be saying "I'd pick one up if it were €200. Why bother even commenting on something that you really don't care for. I'll never understand you people.
Damn man, get a life why don't you. Why do you have bring that negative energy in here. I guess your pockets should be pretty heavy with all the PR you do for Sony.
I was going to say the same thing, but with more words. It's very peculiar that so many Sony fans have these characteristics. How can an electronic device attract a bunch of jerks? Is it coincidental or has Sony been indirectly targeting this market of consumers all along? There's always a shitty comment from a Sony fan about Xbox or anyone who has one. That's the hard truth.
You sound ridiculous. You're actually worried about a guy you don't know buying a videogame console for a specific game. Just because he didn't buy a PS4 you're worried about him possibly having buyers remorse? So if he decided to wait for the PC release and skip on the PS4 release, how would that make you feel any better? You bitchin "please, please don't buy an Xbox One" is pathetic.
Man, these guys really go in defense mode when there's negative news about the PS4.
How about doing some real moderating to end all of this console war bullshit. This site is filled with a bunch of biased Sony fans that think only their opinions matter. So yeah, stop approving click bait articles. It's pathetic and clearly meant to get more hits for N4G and the submitter.
How old are you? Did you reread your comment before posting?
@GamingIVfun, your comment comes off intelligent enough to make a good point, but I have to disagree with you. The services are vastly different as far as multiplayer. There's one huge difference that makes one better than the other, and that is Xbox Live's approach to make a leveled playing field by using dedicated servers. I don't even gave to explain the benefits of that to you if you're a gamer. I'm not insulting for your opinion, but I really think you and a lot of ot...
Would you be making such a comment if Bungie had never developed Destiny as a multi-platform title. I've played every Halo game from the first Xbox to the Xbox One, and I have to say that 343i has beaten Bungie at their own game. It has evolved more since Halo4 and it's taken the right direction in Halo5.
Man, you are one of the few people that gets it. It's so unfair that the Xbox is evolving gaming while being criticized, yet the PS4 is lying still and not even trying anything new.
No shit.
Thanks for the statistics, but I highly doubt the consoles cost that much in China. If so,I can definitely see why they've only sold a hundred thousand consoles. They always seem to pay less for imports there or they will find a way to work around it by creating a knock off product that may play pirated software. I'm sorry, but that's truthfully how the country works. China will never help the market as long as they keep breaking trade rules.
I did the same thing while playing Powerstone back in the day. I would be kicking a$$ but as soon as I was on the verge of defeat, I would make an alliance with the enemy who had the least amount of life bar. As soon as we got rid of the alpha, I'd turn against my ally and get the win.
Just because you say you're a programmer doesn't give you enough credibility to assume it would "take two years before we see a game that takes full advantage of this API". I'm sure it's just a comment that you repeated from some article. You know nothing about DX12 or it's adaptation rate. If you haven't had hands on experience with it, don't speak on it. It makes you sound like a child that absorbs everything he hears and then repeats it like he underst...
@Stuna1. Your comment confuses me. Listen to what you're saying. The dev says that it takes years to shift to the newer platform. He didn't say that it takes another API developer a shorter time to release their own API. Why would it take less time for another API developer other than "Microsoft" to shift adaptation of their software? By the time another API releases, wouldn't majority game developers already be using the DX12 platform? These things aren't made over ...
That's some funny shit.
