The great thing for MS is that all the third party games offer exclusive experiences. You can't play games like Dance Central and Child of Eden with the PS Eye cause both rely on depth detection, so even if they do come out on the PS3 the games will be vastly different and likely gimped on the PS3.

Casuals are getting tired of the waggle, not good for Move but a great opportunity for Kinect
MS's marketing has always been second to none, whatever they have in store for Kinect will likely be very memorable. But they definitely need to get the point across about how much value there is in Kinect.
It because every PS3 fan on this site wishes Sony made Kinect instead of MS. So all they can do now is hate on it in hope MS will give the tech to Sony.
If they didn't care they wouldn't be in every Kincet article and it would definitely not be the hottest thing on N4G.
On topic: I love the way they are saying Move is being critised by "gamers" and Kinect isn't. Just goes to show how little the N4G opinions counts in the real world.
Why would they need to, the hardware is fine all they need to do is optimise the software and that can be done right up until launch and patched with an update.
You guys worry too much, if you think MS is willing to put out a product which is not ready after the whole RROD incident you are stupid. Just look at the quality of the 360S MS learnt and they know what they are doing.
Looks like the 360 is going to settle pretty high and with the arcade coming out it can only go up.
To bad the PS3 won't pass the 360 this gen, and so many people where sure it was going to happen this year too. If it wasn't thanks to the PS2 the PS3 would likely be doing PSP numbers.

People aren't buying a lot of games cause they are expensive and a lot of them aren't worth £50.
In a way motion tech could help the industry cause causals buy anything no matter the price, look how many were willing to spend $99 on a balance board. More causal gamers means more money being put into the industry.

Could it be Move can only track 1:1 in 3D in tech demos and not real games (has anyone seen Move track 1:1 in 3D which isn't a tech demo cause K3/Socom etc isn't 3D tracking)?, Could it be using two controllers are once is too much processing for the PS3 too handle? Or is it simply Move isn't ready?
All I know is they got just about a month to fix the issues, which is very worrying indeed.

Kinect will be huge, no doubt, its something causals have never seen before(since they wouldn't have an eyetoy) and something which is has over Move are its games are FUN and EASY to use, something which made the Wii so big.
People who don't have ann xbox obviously, hence why the bundle is such a good deal.
Sony is going to need as many core titles as possible cause no casual will choose a $399 console over a $199 one when they both do exactly the same thing. Current owners will be the only audience for Move.

Thats what I was thinking, I guess they could send someone to collect it back, but that might be complicated. Plus I doubt they will just make the Kinect "expire" thats £130 wasted. I think they will have to send it back to MS, but who knows.
Fun and easy to use, thats whats Kinect is about.
