How is Move cheaper for a causal/any new owner than Kinect?
Move bundle = $400
Kinect bundle = $300
If you guys seriously believe Move can cause a sales spike for the PS3 you need to open your eyes. It will sell to the hardcore but the casuals won't touch it when they can get the same experiences on the Wii for half the price.
With less than a month to go Move has literally no hype and is topping no charts. N4G opinions mean nothi...
So it is real.
MS really should have shown this at E3, they would have got a much smaller backlash from the hardcore. But then again it was been broadcast in Time Square so they may have not been allowed to show it.
Also it good to see that 3rd parties are confident enough to make entire new games for Kinect built from the ground up.
@ArchangelMike
MS does have to worry about exclusives when it come to Kinect, cause they are a sure t...
So thats 4 games they have shown so far, and apparently there are 8 more included.
We will soon see who made the right choice.
Guess MS got the rights to ME1
Guess Sony doesn't want MS to have a headstart next gen. Xbox 720 won't be out for about 3 years due to Kinect and the new Wii likely will come out in 2 years.
Haven't seen that space game before, thought Kinect Adventures was just the obstacle course, balls and rafting.
Good move for Move, but will put Sony more in the red.
I thought this wasn't an issue anymore :S
@kartik21
Geez no need to cry about it.
No this isn't a PS3 exclusive coming to the 360, so it won't suck now, in fact it will become better *cough*
Anyways without ME1 this would be pointless.
Casuals are boring of waggle control, they want something different now. Even If Nintendo cut the price, I don't think it will do much.
Luck for MS they didn't decide to go with a Wii copy cause that could of been suicide.
It all comes down to the advertising if MS/Sony can appeal to the casuals they will buy it.
Kinect has a much higher chance of succeeding due to the positive press its had with the main stream media (what the casuals keep up with) and the fact that in the eyes of the casuals its someone new and innovative. Kinect has the "wow factor" and thats a key feature that made the Wii and DS so popular. People will be willing to spend $299 to have something motion capture th...
Not surprising considering it was so heavily advertised.
But after actually "playing" the game, how many of those people will be willing to pick up a Heavy Rain 2...
Anyone find it odd that the only method Sony has for promoting Move is to give it away for free? This will be the same as the Coca-Cola promotion.
Just seems that they don't have a lot of faith that people will willing buy Move, unless its free.
@xX-PEIN-Xx
Interesting reply, just goes to show that i'm right if you can't make a proper comeback :)

After watching that video, if you look carefully the way the guy is lying down is diagonally. So the camera can see his whole body, unlike if he was facing the camera directly his legs may get obscured. Which is quite a clever technique by EA.
But like you said its old and apparently MS has only recently updated the Kinect software to fully support sitting down.
Didn't realize cheaper cameras would reduce lag, guess MS is saving finger tracking for Kinect 2
After having a chance to play Kinect I'm keeping my preorder. The games may not be hardcore but they are definitely a hell of a lot fun to play and a laugh, and thats enough for it to get my money.
And I'm sure a lot of other peoples money too.
Price cut for EU.
@kartik21
Why bring the 360 into a PS3 article? Talk about trolling.
PS3 needs a pricecut or it won't get a close third but a distant one.
And 360 has games you don't have one so its obvious why you dont know about them. Upgrade to find out ok ;)
Very nice improvement.
Hopefully we get some features on tuesday.
Mini games usually have higher replayability when they are addictive and you want to get a higher score, than a game that finishes once the story is done. And a lot of action games don't last 10hours so its not that hard to beat them.
@GWAVE
You certainly are very good at getting the first comment in Kinect articles....
