One overhyped 360 game which flopped over the multiple PS3 flops is no big deal, speciallly when its the first real flop since the console launched
Sorry you misunderstood what i meant. For MS the bluray would just be for movies since i dont think they're that stupid to let it be for games as well considering the userbase. Also your right an addon is more likely since it would probably make them more money selling it seperatly.

At this rate the Ps3 wont outsell the 360 till about 2012 also anything could happen to turn the favour to any console. Since in 2010 MS might release a slim 360 with built-in bluray for $199 (since bluray will be cheaper by then) which could be a huge boost for them. Also the PS3 coud do the same minus the bluray.

Considering the PS3 kept selling out i would of thought the PS3 to be higher.
Surprised the 360 didnt outsell the PS3 though, but the PS3 didnt outsell the 360 when it had its fake pricecut. Sept will be the real push when the true pricecut comes.
But this is the 360 we're talking about, the PS3 should be selling like the Wii considering its PS2 base but its not. The 360 on the other hand which was considered dead is actually outselling it, and its momentum will only continue with IU in a couple of weeks and the Last Remant later. While within that timeframe the PS3 will have nothing to appeal to the Japanese audience meaning its slaes can only go down.
Looks like MS efforts are paying off, i wonder if the PS3 had another decrease in sales this week, might not even break the 10,000 mark.
Imagine the 360 beating the PS3 at a higher than 2:1 ratio in their home durf, Sony needs to step up their game if they want to be a close 3rd posistion and not a distanced 3rd position
What im talking about is all their NEW exclusive games were shown in CGI trailers not ON STAGE DEMOS like MS and Nintendo
And all the gamplay demos shown during MS's conference won E3 awards Gear 2, Fable 2 and Fallout 3 which proves their superior quality over Sony's

Really!? What E3 were you watching, all they showed were CGI trailers and NO gameplay.
While both MS and Nintendo showed playable demos of their new exclusive games, Lips, In the Movies, Wii Sports Resort, Shaun White Snowboarding etc
So yeah Sonys E3 was lackluster, but if CGI trailers are your thing then expect Leipzip to have a fresh batch.
After their lackluster E3 they better have something to show and something big to announce...like release dates for a start and no delays (but thats unlikly to happen with their track record)
It is their first "true" flop because games like Bullet Witch, Two Worlds etc were never hyped up to be AAA games. Too Human, Haze, Lair and Heavenly Sword were and they have fallen flat on that expectation making them a flop.
Just because some random unknown game gets a low score doesnt make it a flop, if the expectations for it were low in the first place
I doubt that, Nintendo still got a lot of tricks up their sleeves like a huge pricecut (considering its overpriced now), new colours and a possible HD addon will be more than enough to keep up high demand just look at the DS.
Also the prediction is a bit unfair considing the PS2's 5 year head start
Well i think its safe to say that this is MS first true flop, since its was hyped as much as Lair, Heavenly Sword and Haze and looks to recieve scores just as low as them.
But i still got a funny feeling that this will be a million seller by the end of the year, which will set it apart from other flops
So your trying to say that it will beat the PS3 in Aug and then with the priceut of 199,299,399 to all system its sales will actually decrease, while the PS3s will rise eventhough no new games have been released or no pricecut has been given

Well if thats what he believes im guessing the PS3 outsold the 360. But next month will be different with the temporary pricecut, and 60GB models in full effect the 360 will most likely outsell the PS3.
Then come Sept with the reported $199 pricecuts expect it to continue to outsell the PS3 up to and pass Dec, with all the AAA exclusives like Fable and Gears along with holiday bundles this is almost certain
Well unless the PS3 can outsell the 360 consistantly and by a LARGE margin every month i dont think the PS3 will ever surpass the 360 let alone by 30ml units
I dont see why Nintendo see the need to lie about this, the best Wii games are first party, the best selling games are first party its a win win for Nintendo. Do they even need third party games.
Thats if MS give you the funding to make the second one. If the first flops in sales than a doubt they'll waste their money on a sequel let alone a whole trilogy
