Halo 3 wasnt bundled WW trust me, i remember loads of people complaining when MS released the Green Halo 3 console and not bundling the game with it.
Unlike Sony, MS want to make the most money they can so they made sure everyone brought the game seperatly while Sony wanted to boost potentially low sales by bundling it with their best SKU

Im from the UK and i saw more MGS4 tv ads than i did Halo 3, but im sure its quite different in the US
Also MGS4 was bundled with the best PS3 model on the market so a lot of its sales werent intentional as the game was just a bonus to some people. The same could be said with the gunmetal grey PS3 but thats less likely since it is a metal gear design (also im not 100% sure if the game was actually bundled with it to). While Halo 3 on the other hand was just a standalone game
Not bad for a PS3 game, but considering Halo 3 sold 5.2ml in just 2 weeks without much sales from Japan it kinda takes away the impressiveness.
But considering the low PS3 attach rate, like i said before its not bad
Art style will always trump technical prowess. Having the most powerful machine doesnt always guarantee the best looking games
Which is why as long as there are creative devs out there the 360 can still produce better looking games than the PS3 even at the end of both their lifecycles.....also having the better GPU helps as well
Your right a lot of the Gear 2 fanbase already have a 360, but that doesnt mean that there arent a lot of people who want to play gears or halo who have yet to buy a 360. I know its not accurate for the whole of the US but if u look at amazon halo 3 is outselling the actual 360 console so a lot of people still have yet to make the jump.
Also the orignal rumour mentioned holiday bundles as well and if that bundle includes Gears 1 and Halo 3 (which would be quite easy for MS to do)...
Nintendo wont need to do anything cause people will buy it reguardless
Sony will have to though and fast because consumers will be thinking that since MS cut the price Sony will follow and there will be a decrease in sales as they wait for a pricecut to happen. This will be very damaging to Sony since they have still yet to win a holiday season in the US unlike MS who with Gears 2 are set to dominate yet again
Why is it news that a game runs at 30fps thats the standard for game, i could understand 60fps or below 30.
The fact that its only 30 is kinda a dissappointment since a lot of exclusive racing games like GT5:P and Forza 2 run at 60fps
Yeah i think i have seen some HOME video but it never mentioned anything about selecting rings, ear rings etc maybe whole costumes but Avatars got that anyway.
Also when you throw in the fact that this will b released before HOME and has deeper customization kinda makes Sony look pathetic

Tomorrow will likely just give everyone there a chance to play all the playable demos
Well i guess its a shock in SE's eyes since this is the first time a FF has had a demo, at least i think its is.
Also a PS3 bundle would give Sony much needed help in Japan
Shame there was no FFVII remake annouced, who knows they might annouce Kingdom hearts 3 later today (or tommorrow)
i just find it hard to believe they'd announce such a big game at such a small party, why not E3 or TGS?
MS really should stop buying timed exclusives and just buy whole studios instead so they can create a stready stream of permanant exclusives

Personally i dont think the PS3 needs a pricecut cause its already worth more than the 360 (with bluray and wifi built-in) but even with that value if fails to sell well.
You all may think selling 30,000 more than the 360 is good enough but its not when you look at the PS2 install base, which i might add is being stolen by the Wii and even the 3...
Even without any AAA games recently released or a real pricecut the 360 still outsells the PS3 WW incredible
Just wait until Fable 2, Gears2, Banjo, Fallout 3 and those JRPGs along with the pricecut hit it will be utter chaos, hopefully MS will be able to keep up with demand
Eventhough its fake the fact that theres a rumour saying FFXIII will be released in 09 for US/EU gotta be good news
