Of course they need one, its just isnt going to happen anytime soon. They've already lost ALL the profit they made in the PS2 generation with the PS3 and they are still making a loss with the hardware
If they want to make a profit in their gaming division they not going to drop the price unless their sales drop drastically
What they need to do is come out with more AAA exculsives so they can make money on software
Yeah that is revolutionary tell me of another RPG where you can play co-op from start to finish
It wouldnt surprise me if this game gets a few GOTY awards since its just bursting with innovation

To be honest with you Amazon charts dont mean sh*t. I've said this before in an amazon related thread, Halo 3 has NEVER left the top 50 since it released a year ago that doesnt mean its sold sum crazy number like 20ml.
The fact is, the 360 IS selling better considring that it didnt need to be in the top 25 to outsell the PS3 before it sure as hell doesnt need to now
3 SKUs in top 40 is better than just one in the top 10
MS most likely has some huge megatons to announce at TGS especially since they were so quiet at GDC.

It is due to lack of stock actually and they plan to restock on the 11th of sept i believe
And obviously some units would still of been sold, when the Wii sells out in the US its numbers are never 0 are they, since some shops will likely still have them in stock just not the majority
July wasnt a real pricecut it was just a clearance sale, when the PS3 did the same thing but by $100 with the 60GB the 360 still outsold it
June there was MGS4 obviously, but the PS3 still couldnt beat the Wii but when Halo 3 was released the 360 did beat the Wii
As for EU the PS brand is strongest there and MS is trying their best to crack it, but the PS3 is still cheaper than the 360 in terms of value and what it includes

MS will most certainly stay on top of the PS3 from now until Sony cut the price of the PS3, especally when the holiday bundles hit
Also considering the 360 has been out a year longer than the PS3 and its demand it still as high as the PS3 (a newer console) is very impressive no matter how you look at it
So Rockband 2 will be out before the first one is even released on the PS3
I guess thats one timed exclusive which was worth the money
MS and Mistwalker should have something to show its been practically a year since LO released in Japan surely they have something new to show off by now.
Also expect some SO4 and FFXIII trailers too

360 has the highest attach rate in gaming history, even if its sells hardware at a slow rate than the PS3 and Wii it sells software at a far superior rate than the other two.
Even in Japan the 360 has the highest attach rate, thats the only reason so many previous PS exclusives have come to the Xbox because they are usually garenteed to sell
Well if you want to talk about the past then, what about SE taking the FF franchise away from nintedo the console what saw its birth.
Times change and so do peoples opinions on consoles and since tri-ace is making 2 exclusive 360 games i think its say to say they've moved on from Sony just like SE did with Nintendo
