If it is like oblivion I just hope they spend more time on the main quest. Oblivion was a great game, but compared to all of the side quests, the great visuals and other gameplay, the main quest was pretty weak.

I think you're reading too much into the trophy thing. My guess would be the boost in sales comes from the budget price and not the trophy add on. Uncharted is an amazing game also, for me it was also right up there as a second to only bioshock for my goty 2007. Most gamers don't buy 360 games just for achievements though, so I don't think trophies would be any different.
And for cod4, the achievements were pretty lame anyway and the trophies would most likely just be for the sam...

The stormtooper combat seemed fine with me. What i'm really interested in is how they do the lightsaber fights. Even the great jedi knight games never really got the dueling right.

I'll agree that the graphics were underwhelming, but the physics engine was everything that lucas arts advertised. Graphically comparing it to similar games it looks much better than ng2, but not quite as good as dmc4.

I couldn't disagree more. If i want to play a classic ps1 game I'll just go pick up the disc in a bargain bin or online for about the same that it would cost on psn.

The graphics were fine with me, the one thing I hope they improved was transition defense. The ai controlled players were horrible at stopping the break, and people exploit it like hell online. Even with that problem though, 2k8 was the best sports game out last year.
I know what you mean, but still, its a star wars game, so they're not going to make it into a gore fest with blood and body parts flying everywhere. Lucas (smartly) never allows anything more than teen rated stuff to be used in star wars products.

Its simple, people get all excited about games they know nothing about other than a few screens whenever they're exclusive.
