How exactly does two aaa franchise games releasing on the same day suck for people who own both consoles?
I'll be getting both day one and will spend the next couple weeks switching back and forth between them. Its releases like this that made me decide to buy both consoles in the first place.
Looks like a cross between resident evil and gears of war, with some sci fi thrown in.. but then again so did dark sector.. My hopes are still high for this one though.
two games later and I still can't believe that skinny black guy from that queen latifa sitcom is the voice of kratos. Such a weird choice, but it works.
Thats what I've always said. gamer points (and now trophies) should be used to purchase add ons for the games you unlock them in. Obviously nothing big, but things like extra skins, concept art, interviews, characters, weapons, items etc should be unlockable through purchase points tied to your gamer score.
The biggest betrayal was moore flat out lying and saying that shenmue 2 would be a "last gift" for loyal dreamcast supporters. He reneged and made it an xbox exclusive. I haven't bought a single sega product since.
Well, if cod4 is any indication, after you beat w@w you can enjoy hours of some of the best online console fps gameplay ever.
Trophies are nice and all, but to buy a bad game just for them, or pass up a great game just because it doesn't have them is pretty stupid.
They've reviewing it as a ps2 game, so they're right not to compare it to the 360/ps3 versions. Either way, over all platforms the reviews for this game have been a huge disappointment.

I dont know what you guys are talking about. the bioshock shotgun was one of the best ever. what other shotgun allowed for that level of customization. The electric buckshot alone beats out the shotguns from most other games.
Yea, I hate people like that, who get all wound up and pissed off about some little game and have to yell into their headset about it. Especially the ones who like to blame all their deaths on "a flaw in the game" instead of their opponent's skill or weakness in their own game.
Second poster is right, the map pack really wasn't worth it. Broadcast is decent, and creek can be good if you're in a room without rampant campers, but none of the variety pack maps are as good as the original maps that were released with the game.
Nice, i've been waiting for the godfather trilogy in blu-ray since the day i got my ps3. Im a huge netflix fan and don't often buy movies, but thats a must have.
Stuck at work so I can't dl the demo, how are the passing and shooting game? That was my big issue with 08, and what brought me back to pes.

Maybe I didn't have the same amount of hype going in, but the demo was basically what i expected from this game. From what the dev stated all along the game was always going to be a god of war/ninja gaiden type action game with great physics and force powers turned up really high. Thats exactly what the demo was. If fans had unrealistic expectations then thats not the dev's fault. I followed the previews and dev interviews on this game, and the demo lives up to basically everything they said ...
I don't get that comment, the saber fighting in force unleashed seems much better than the saber in jedi outcast. There weren't even any combos in jedi outcast, and you can do a lot more with the saber combat wise in force unleashed, and thats just from the demo.
To the original poster, yea, its a fps so obviously theres violence. But bioshock is much better than just that, its the atmosphere, the plot and the creative gameplay that makes the game so great.
Bioshock is the best game this gen of consoles has to offer so far, and its good that gamers who own just a ps3 will finally get a chance to play it.

If you "cannot wait" to get it for your ps3, why didn't you get it for your 360 last year? Weird.
People aren't talking about it because its multiplatform, nothing for the fanboys to bicker about.. that is until its released and the inevitable comparison screen shots and vids come out.
You're not the only one let down by this. I'm a big seinfeld fan, not really the show (although it is good), but moreso of his stand up. I disagree with you in that I think the commercials were terrible, but i would have liked to see them try again with another concept. Gates as a straight man to seinfeld sounded like a really funny idea, shame to see them throw it away completely.
