@eferreira I know it doesn't make the most sense but I guess it was pokemon that started the trend... If it weren't for pokemon I and many others wouldn't have got into handheld gaming as kids with the og gameboy and advance...Most of the games I got for handhelds were rpgs so I kinda look at them as mainly rpg machines because often then not the other games lacked alot of content compared to the console games while the rpgs were just packed. That's not all I want for the vita...
Yeah I'd rather not have simplified versions of action/ shooter console games on the vita, I'll take my console games on consoles.. If i want to play those games on vita I can just use remote play from ps3/4.
...Rpgs like soul sacrifice and games like tearaway is what I'm looking forward to.
@kirbyu you sound like a virgin with no sense of humor.
Imagine what Bethesda is going to do next gen :o
It's a pc that's locked down by Sony...they throw on custom security, GUI and network. The same goes for Microsoft. That's what consoles are folks.
Interracial Pokemon mating is what happened... Finally a charizard had sex with a lapras, vileplume did it with a magmar, and pigeot got "chopped" by a machop.
That doesn't mean info can't get leaked...what happens when a dev gets fired or a friend of a dev gets an inside scoop and wants to share? This happens.
@riverstars86 tell me.. In a fight do you and your opponent take turns attacking each other and stand in one place? No, lol... in Ni no Kuni you don't have to wait your turn to attack you actually have to move, it's a bit more fast pace and strategic, and if you grew up with pokemon, Ni no Kuni was the type of game you always wanted pokemon to become. Classic turn based rpgs are just outdated man...Lost Odyssey while the story may be good...the gameplay just isn't there and that...
@JBSLEEK and others in the U.S. is comcast in your areas? 30-40$ a month for 20 mbps downloads and no data cap isn't a bad deal. And if you qualify for low income they have a plan for 10$.
I'm a couple hours in and it's like a grittier version of uncharted with an upgrade system for skills/weapons and more open level designs...There's a few simple puzzles here and there and a little bit of exploration where you'll be able to find upgrade pieces for your weapons, hunt animals, find artifacts etc. Tomb Raider shares a lot of similarities with Uncharted but the games still great in its own way with its grittiness, rpg elements, and level design.
Why bring back Shenmue when there's Sleeping Dogs?
Used game sales certainly outnumber new copy sales, so I understand..Some devs have lost their jobs due to not meeting sales marks and some games don't see sequals because of okay sales so yeah used games are not really favorable to the gamer. If used games were cut they could definitely start charging 40$ for a new release and easily make more money then they do now. Instead of selling back your game to the vulcher used game stores maybe the devs/publishers can set up a discount thing, w...
Those gripes are so miniscule and bother very few people to be even considered cons though, even the 1st one which I can understand would be valid except there were NO reports of credit card fraud after the breach.. And if your worried about that you know you can pay through PayPal or prepaid visa/psn cards that's just the safer option. Microsofts cons though relate soley to greed...There's no way around not paying for multiplayer, app access, a small variety of AAA exclusives, expens...
POWER STONE 3, C'MON!
I prefer Sleeping Dogs over both Shenmue & Yakuza.
@deerain pretty much every ps3 game is playable on the vita via remote play (if your ps3 was made in 2010 or earlier)... For those who really want that feature you people arnt Googling hard enough.
I'd like to see both launch same day and same price... That'd be a first for the industry and it'd allow people to pick based truly on specs and games, that's real competition right there.
This can't be true, If you buy the full game digitally it's about 45 gbs total.. No installs except a 1 gb reserve. Lol at whoever wrote and approved this.
No data cap here in murica with comcast 40$ a month.. 20mbps downloads.
Cartridges are faster than disc man... Where were you in the 90s? Them instant boot times and that quick loading mmm. To bad it's not economical to make 50gb ssd cartridges to put games on.
