A second screen is a distraction, an unneeded feature that just makes gameplay more cumbersome.. People seem to like it for some reason though.
Ohhh yeaaah!
Yeah the PS3 slim disc drive is loud depending on the game, guess it's that way for movies too. Idk I havnt watched a disc movie on my PS3. What you can do is download/rip the movie on your computer then put the file on a usb stick, put it in the ps3 and go to the video section and press triangle on your usb and it'll display all your movies to watch. On topic though, should game systems really be allowed in prison? Last I checked gaming is a privilege not a given right, gaming just m...
Overall seems to run smoother, havnt really had any hangs/slowdown or came across any bugs so far while playing Dragonborn (360). Also it helps performance if you have only a few saves, so delete em all except for your most recent use overwrite and turn off the autosave too.
It was confirmed no unreal engine 4 on wii u and I'm guessing many other engines will also be skipping it. I ask this to everyone who thinks about getting a Nintendo system, do you REALLY like Mario, Zelda, Donkey Kong, Smash Bros, Metroid, etc? If so get it, if not then don't.. Its as simple as that.
Kind of, it was a contract saying that if there were any missing features or they decided to release a game at a later date on the xbox 360 that Microsoft has a right and may refuse the game entirely.
@raytraceme yeah hopefully devs do start using OpenGL more..I don't think I'm buying the next xbox from what I've been hearing..so I'd like if PS4 is lead platform more next gen. And funny how if you say anything positive about xbox on this site you get disagrees out the ass lol. I bash on the xbox too.. Go through my comments but I also am not a fan boy, I know xbox shined over ps3 when it came to multiplat games..that was it though and it'd kinda suck if that happened ag...
Except your forgetting Xbox uses direct x while PS4 uses a variant of OpenGL... Most devs prefer direct x...hence why xbox was the lead platform for most multiplat games.. I see it going the same way next gen. ALTHOUGH since PS4 has a x86 architecture it is easier to port to.. So I expect even if xbox is leading platform again that it now truly depends on who has the best hardware to determine which version of a game will look/perform better.
Dude.. Patches will always be available. Xbuc.net and torrent sites.
The only games ever worth the dlc purchase is open world games anyway...stay away from buying dlc from any other type of game and you'll be good... dlc in other games is always a rip off.. Some costumes/extra characters and map packs. Lol can't believe people pay for that stuff.
You can mod the games you get on steam, you can pick at what fps and resolution you want to play at, you get deals on games, you don't have to pay a subscription to play multiplayer...on xbox you get none of that.
One thing we all have in common, straight or gay is that we all like boobs. It's in our nature, they are what fed us. We wouldn't be here if not for boobs.
What's new? Sony has always been pro consumer while Microsoft has been pro developer.
Got it early, it's basically a re skinned updated super hero version of the last mortal combat game...has the same feel to it.
Something that runs XBMC for under a 100$ isn't a bad deal at all...can't fault you for hating, people just arnt well informed of what a kick ass media hub and retro gaming machine this thing is...it can be a substitute for cable/netflix, any movie or tv show you want it's on xbmc for free... And plenty of emulators from N64 PSP SNES PS1 and so on. For 99$ I'd say it's pretty damn good.
Microsoft is asking for hackers.
@die_fiend they are facts though...There's nothing really to argue against, hence your little comment which says nothing..were most multiplats not developed on 360? Yeah they were, partially due to the tools available for direct x compared to what Sony gave in its variant of OpenGL. Maybe Sony has made everything a bit more friendly but still I think most devs are going to go with direct x for the most part since it's always up to date, they're used to it and pc games also use it....
Why the disagrees? I'm not hating on PlayStation.. I'm just saying...direct x is now the standard most game developers use and it comes on Xbox dev kits so they then will port games to PS4 just like this gen, since the ps/xbox structures are going to be more similar...its pretty much all up to how the hardware stacks up against each other to determine which version of a game will be better.
Seeing as the 360 has a total usable amount of 512mb of ram and ps3 also has that but it can only use half of it for video so 256mb of ram.. Then on top of that in today's terms they both have about 50$ graphics cards... take all that into account... Now look at Skyrim and tell me what you see? I see something that no other dev has been able to pull off on consoles this gen...the bugs in Skyrim and Fallout are to be expected when looking at the sheer size and amount of content in those ga...
The devs needing to be always connected to MS servers sounds logical especially after what happened with the dev kit that guy was trying to sell...and also the documents did state always connected as in an optional way to install patches, updates, games etc. in a low power mode while not operating the console, that's it..nothing about having to be connected to run a game... Journalist are just trying to twist words.. grabbing for them hits.
