Idk, I started on the snes with 5 or 6. Still, when 7 dropped that's when I took more of a liking to final fantasy...it was the graphical change on the ps1 and the characters/ writing that got me. Idk maybe because I'm from the US? But I felt the aura of ff7 was aimed at Americans with the stereotypical black guy, the white kid who just doesn't give a damn about anything but himself, etc. That variety, The characters had flavor man..it just grabbed me more than the previous ones. ...
7 8 9 10 and 12 were really the only good ones imo.
Where's the skill in using a keyboard and mouse in a shooter? There isn't any, it turns shooters into a casual click and point game. Using a controller isn't all that difficult man unless you have Parkinsons or something than I'd understand..otherwise the hardcore gamer in me does not approve whether it's single player or multiplayer.

I have my ps3, don't really plan on getting rid of it. For what, like 50$ at gamestop in trade in? No thanks. Ps3 doubles as a bluray player and media streamer so I see no point in getting rid of it when I can place it somewhere else to be used when I get the ps4. So backwards compatibility isn't really a problem. If it's incorporated.. fine, but if it raises the cost 100+ then offer a model without it.
This should have been a spin off. Jeez, the only game I've played this gen that gave me some scare, the only game with that jump factor...The horror genre is withering away, and they decide to do this? Turn it into a typical action game. -__- hope I'm wrong but if the game is like the demo, then it'll be a disappointment.
Yeah... I only found 3 games to be difficult this whole gen. Demon souls, Dark souls, and dragons dogma. Most games now give you an in depth tutorial as if you've never touched a game. Also alot of games now focus much more on story then challenging and rewarding gameplay. Game movies usually sell better than game games though, so it's what we're going to be seeing more of.

Kinda pissed me off I had to buy multiple xbox's and on top of that a 100$ wifi add on..And on top of the Internet bill a subscription fee to access the other half of my games. Then to top it off there was only 3 exclusives.
