Present = one boring setting we're all used to
Past = thousands of interesting settings we can never see in real life
That's a horribly racist comment, if I might say so.
It has nothing to do with "research".
I'm sure many people simply want an updated Mafia game with all the classic mobster tropes we've come to love from the setting, but updated with modern graphics and gameplay innovations.
This whole New Orleans theme seems a bit odd. It's the same reason why people like Vikings but don't care much about early Medieval Finns.
You must be genuinely oblivious to what is truly going on.
If you don't complain about censorship, then you are supporting it.
For all the people saying it doesn't matter, this is generally how censors and anti-freedom of speech activists get their own way.
If you're not vigilant on the small incursions, they will grow and grow until they start becoming more like Saudi Arabian censorship.
Feminism is causing this, and feminism is only going to keep getting more authoritarian from here onward, so we have to stop it by refusing to surrender an inch.
Well we're getting Quantum Break on day one, so I don't see a problem with this.
Not only that, but it's more than likely that they'll use the extra time to polish up the game.
You mean the entire developed world?
:p
Why am I not surprised? I'd wager my wallet on there being no event for International Men's Day.
Well no it's fair enough to have games not coming to the PS4, because that console has its own exclusives.
The PC doesn't generally have exclusives, except those which come from studios too small to port to consoles, or strategy games which don't really work with a controller.
And the PC doesn't need to compete with the Xbox on games. With a PC, you pay much, much more, for better performance, but the Xbox has the mass-production price/value ...
No they're not.
But when the storyline and soundtrack are bland and uninteresting across several games, they become boring.
If you're going to churn out identical gameplay mechanics each time, fine, but give people something compelling to hold their attention. Something which makes them feel some form of emotion other than boredom.
For the love of GabeN!
What is this blasphemy!?
The Xbox One has 500 games.
The PS4 has 970 games.
Steam has 16,800 games.
And PC games are generally cheaper than console games as well.
You're an Xbox gamer. The best thing that could happen to you is Windows merging the PC and Xbox, because it would mean the same price for the machine, but thousands more games (and they would likely have an Xbox-optimised graphics setting).
You should care more about w...
Such a racist comment.
At best this is probably just a placeholder.
Things Ubisofts could do to improve their games:
-Custom characters
-More levelling choices
-Branching stories
-Mixing up the sidequests to be more interesting/unique
-Better soundtracks
But they will do none of these, because they have forgotten how to make good games.
I'll use it for Microsoft exclusives, like I use Origin at the moment.
Neither service will ever replace Steam.
You assume I'm a supporter of Wild West labour laws where employers can do whatever they want. I'm not.
If I owned a company, was an arse, and had freedom to do whatever I wanted, I would sack anyone who becomes ill, goes on strike, and probably who disagrees with my own political and religious beliefs (right wing atheism). They'd all be sacked, because there's nothing stopping me.
In the United Kingdom, we actually do have laws preventing org...
The dichotomy is not "private or public", but "private or professional".
Otherwise, we might as well all be sacked for expressing opposition to feminism/whatever on N4G, a "public" website: this is quite clearly against the spirit of my argument.
And you're probably informed enough to be aware that public office is very obviously an exception to the rule. It generally always has been in recent history, and for good reason. <...
Allow me to clarify. By private, I refer to all matters concerning non-professional life.
The dichotomy is private and professional; not private and public.
Thus, Twitter can be either a private or professional platform depending on whether an official work account is used, or a personal account.
Not just EA. Also Internet SJWs.
Which limits them in terms of story, and turns their games into a box-ticking exercise.
Ubisoft had the same thing with AC: Syndicate.
