The entire purpose of this article is to criticise the use of a white male protagonist (the physical embodiment of evil for the SJW) and thinly mask its ideological nature by pointing out that the protagonist might have been an alien instead.
This article would not have existed if the protagonist was black or female. It's yet another toxic, bigoted hit-piece, the likes of which we are now well-accustomed to.
