and just the fact they dare say DLC shows how s#itty the industry has become. I still think the reason for the advent of DLC is all because of Microsoft. Partly because the DVD size limits, but also because they want people to get online and DLC is the lure that might lead them to Gold memberships once they get there. But the thing is we all suffer now regardless of platform because games are being released incomplete.
I figure if they were to both come up with some type of motion controller, odds are they wouldn't work the same way and therefore it might eliminate 3rd party multiplatform motion projects? Not that the end of multiplatform would be a bad thing, but if that did happen and one or the other started to get better motion games than the other just because the controllers were completely different, that could lead to some real bad vibes in the industry.

I read a preview about a week ago that said there is a bunch of screen tearing in the final build of the game. What's up with that? Uncharted had it too. I'll be pissed if they don't fix that for Uncharted 2. Even with Final Fantasy they were holding Microsoft's balls all along. All the more reason why it's going to be better on 360. They have completely swallowed the 360 and it's sad how a once proud Japanese video game company has been turned into a b!tch.
Dedicated Playstation sites will talk about this, but I doubt there will be any mention on sites that carry multiplatform coverage even though this is only in Japan for now. I do agree with the article that had this been a Sony ad bad mouthing MS, every site would be over it like flies.

If you think about it, Activision doesn't have many quality titles. Go look at the Activision web site and check the game list. Take away the Call of Duty franchise and (at least on HD systems) the company is sort of generic. Hope you like movie licensed games.

I honestly don't believe there was ever a planned Rockstar exclusive after GTA4 went multi. I'll continue to stick to that belief until proven wrong because all we have ever heard about it is from Sony right after losing GTA4 exclusivity and that would be a typical PR move to try to put out the flame. I got a tip from a buddy who works at Rockstar, he let slip what the name of the exclusive PS3 game is. It's called "Lies".

HD games on PS3 during its first year went over the DVD limits and ever since. Multiplatform would totally lick the sack if that's all we got until 2013. Hope you absolutely love DLC because what can't fit on the disc is coming at you in the form of DLC.
