Because the hardcore buy the first next-gen system always. A year later they have spent so much money on everything from games, accessories, and memberships, that they are stuck with that console unless they are filthy rich. Add to that the high cost of the other console (PS3) when it does release and fanboys are made because they aren't made of money.
I've never even seen a screenshot of Alan Wake that justifies your claim. I'm sure it will look good, but saying it's going to look as great as you claim is nuts.
You can't afford the Battlestar set...nobody can
I think games will start to look better on 360. They won't start to look better than PS3 games done right, but they will look better than 360 games made by the bunches. I think since games are made easy on 360, developers and publishers cop out and rush games only looking for money. But since it's obvious you need different techniques for PS3 games, developers might as well do it right because a wait is a wait regardless. Final Fantasy is 360 bound and people think it looks good, and that...
Dude, I think they are referring to lifetime sales. And therefore 300,000 systems up with one year less out there. Basically if you calculate that by time on market it's a serious beatdown.
Without reading the article I take the statement as gamers and not fanboys. Obviously fanboys exsist on both sides of next-gen hardware, and if you were to ask either side they would obviously give the expected reply. But I really wouldn't be shocked if "gamers" have given up on the 360. I haven't seen anything or heard anything in a long time that sounds good for it. Sad thing is the longer it takes MS to sell 360's to the average Joe the more blu-ray penetration becomes a seco...
This is on XBLA but not PSN.
Yet another reminder that Square Enix sucks Microsoft's penis.
Sure we all have heard SE say how the PS3 is lead platform and how it's going to be all sunshine and roses when it comes out. But let's be honest. They might say this but anyone with a head can sense the PR speak. They have lots of experience making 360 games now and because they might claim to know how to make PS3 games and might even have an engine specifically said to deliver that goal. It's not going to be a shocker if they are just putting up lip service and the 360 version is better...
Sorry but it's true.
I don't care what you say.
Microsoft has spent enough in marketing so the regular (non-gamer) can say that's Halo from a picture, or that's whatever. And for mass market when you get that it's a done deal. But maybe Microsoft should have advertised less and spent more on quality control.
Motorstorm Pacific Rift rocked. If you played it you know already. The engine runs flawless so no slowdown or screen tearing. There's better damage. And the courses are more complex. I won't read this article because the basic premise is retarded.
blackboyunltd - Free roam can't have as much detail and character. Some of the screens on Motorstorm were super heavy on memorable lanes. Without a real route how is it racing?
They have been pimping the industry since they entered the game. Recently they lost a few hoes along the way, but pimps keep pimpin' so don't sleep on the come up.
And the new hoes are gonna be stars!!!!
I doubt the import numbers are big
For the first time for any game ever I had trouble finding a copy. I wound up going to 3 Target stores to finally find a copy of The Show. And while I was there I was the second guy in line buying the game. True story. Never seen anything like it. I know it was a fluke and doesn't make sense, but it is what it is.
.
It's because MS doesn't have any games anymore
He said a special limited edition bundle to celebrate the price drop will be available around September that is going to include Killzone 2, LBP, a second controller and an 80 system for 400 bucks.
It will be in extremely limited quanities.
OK I was BSing you.
My bet is that the price drop happens on 6/24
They will even offer a second color of PS3 this time
You say how did I pull this out?
Well I'm putting things togeth...
And as the industry continues to grow, eventually games will rival movies. Saying graphics don't matter that much anymore is a cop out.
when you said you figure it will be the first to max it out I took that as saying it will rock.
I guess it's going to max out then and only look good :)
