Don't they know it's been too long to try to prey upon PS3 customers. You can't tell them they get nothing because most of them believed and promptly sold the copy of F3 they had after playing so nobody is really left to buy the DLC.
But let this be a lesson to you all. Do not BUY downloadable content. It is a farce. The only reason you don't get it all when you pay all that money for the game is because games are HD now. And this BS goes for MS too. We should be able to g...
It depends on what defines the winner. If it's about who has the most games I guess Sony because they have the most studios by far. Microsoft is King of advertising and overall media love so if they do show one or two first or second party games the entire internet and MS media backbone will cream over itself. Nintendo will have something that doesn't impress the hardcores but will sell a billion in the first week that requires you to buy another add-on. So yeah, I can say MS will win beca...
I have to chip in on this board and support the Halo 3 cause. I've played it (maybe you have too) and it's really cool. The thing that sets it apart from other shooters is the characters. The enemies are almost Jim Henson muppet villans (that's a compliment). The dailogue is pretty cool too because your name is Chief. So running around having people call you chief is funny and fun. Basically I don't think it has anything to do with whatever 360 has. All the fans of the series only need...
If this is true I don't know whether to laugh or cry. On one hand I cry because that would mean bluray games being held back on content for who knows how long because of the 360 DVD limits. But then maybe I could laugh because the more ambitious developers might make more games PS3 exclusive. There are a few 3rd party PS3 exclusives coming later this year so maybe it's just the start of a trend.
Your statement that MS is doing better than Sony this gen should be corrected. Sony is making money on video games, MS is not. Granted there was one quarter 3 quarters ago where MS actually posted a profit, but that has been followed by 2 consectutive losing quarters as usual. Now Sony supposedly has brought the PS3 close to even in terms of money it costs to sell, and they have the PS2 cashcow out there as well as the PSP which is why the videogame division over at Sony was one of the bri...
Don't jinx it for millions of fans. They already had to suffer through RROD once, twice, or who knows how many times with the 360. Just thinking about a repeat of overheating issues might start a public outcry.
Developers include all this stuff on the bluray disc when they release the game - what a novel idea. It's not like there isn't enough room.
The 360 can look as good as a PS3 with a multiplatform engine
They let games sell for more money and have any file size and because publishers want things to be equal they jack up the price once they get the okay from MS to adjust the file size limit on LIVE to match PSN file size and price.
Is what couldn't fit on DVD space limits.
Hope every kid has an online connection for his/her system
Microsoft will be first out the gate again but this time it won't be followed by either of the 2. Nintendo would have to see a stop in sales to consider doing anything except releasing new accessories because they appeal to casuals not interested in graphics. And Sony has seen Nintendo excel with last gen graphics so they can let the PS3 be on market for a long long time even though Microsoft will have the more powerful system when they release the next box in a year or 2.
THE NEXT XBOX IS HERE
NEXT YEAR :)
bu...but the PS3 is dying and is dead.
Microsoft said this E3 is going to be bananas for them this year. Something about how they plan on changing home entertainment. Everybody who wants to try to believe the 360 is going to continue to be around for one reason or another is brainwashing themselves and is trying to brainwash you too if you will listen to them. Look, Microsoft NEVER ever planned on the 360 lasting more than a typical 4 to 5 year cycle so the money for development and all other related areas involved in releasing...
never sell
I'm sure they have tons of those :)
Doesn't know how to make PS3 games so please don't bother.
Hopefully Microsoft does whatever is neccessary to secure true exclusivity on this one because they need it. As of now, the exclusive roster is looking thin and maybe this can help. After playing the first one on both 360 and PS3, it's obvious the guy in charge of this game has a hard time making PS3 games and that's why I really wouldn't want to try part 2 on PS3 anyway.
I guess this writer missed the latest revenue update again because this past quarter the Microsoft games division posted losses of something around 38 million.
Granted, there was one quarter they actually made money and that was the quarter before last however. For the past 2 quarters they have been losing money again.
There is no such thing as dated.
It only becomes retro :)
