While you and probably the majority of the 360 customer base doesn't have a problem with multiple discs, it doesn't matter because the game publishers do, and in the end that's the people to worry about. Even you should worry.
Because it's gay and even the name says so.
the "melange of deep storytelling, interactive gameplay, brilliant music, and gorgeous visuals" is where video games should be headed. From my understanding this isn't going to be gameplay in a traditional sense, but that's great. I hope to see the vide game industry succeed in more of a movie type approach like this.
"Although we're seeing less and less of them in this generation of games as more big titles are getting multi-platform releases,"
I think the more disturbing trend is the lack of IP's.
Does every game have to be part 2, 3, 4, or 5 now?
Publishers need to show some balls and try some new games, especially publishers that make consoles who can afford to give players the choice of playing the never ending repeat or something totally new.
I heard a rumor it releases the day before Christmas
The entire idea of the Big Daddy who splices and now has the big drill and powers is lame. For one, how does he shoot up and gain these powers while in the suit. Sounds like they ran out of ideas. Part 3 will have aliens and zombies.
Take away Goldeneye (technically made by Free Radical anyways) and the list of past games RARE made are mediocre.
This game comes out on the same day?
Although I've seen other screen grabs and this game has more color and an anime on steroids art style so I have to say artisitically it's probably going to be more interesting to look at.
Infamous is so crazy it's scary. Too bad they aren't going to have any DLC. I hate DLC with a passion, but if they could patch a game-mode somewhat like Mirror's Edge where it's like a race between 2 people online from one end to the other while being shot at. Man, I don't know about you but that would be enough to make the game an all-time great.
They are both RPG games. Just as FIFA and MADDEN are both "sports" games. As far as RPG's go Valkyria is probably the better game since it's actually doing something new, but maybe the PS3 version of Tales with all the extra stuff might make it close to equal.
Played it for a couple hours. Haven't tried any of the missions yet. Had too much fun running up, down, and around the city shooting reapers to start the story :)
Oh, somebody finally figured out a game on part 6 isn't original.
How original.
This is a real fun game. I've been playing it for about 4 hours today and there is just a ton of action. Other open world games don't have the level of intensity when it comes to action, and it doesn't even seem like other open world games overall. Hard to explain. But it's a good thing. GTA 4 should have been more like this and it would have been fun.
Get Folklore first because it's a little better overall and since it's older it might be harder to find.
I'm there
Steam is totally different. This is home console video games we're talking about. And from your crack against GT5 prologue it's obvious you didn't play it. Too bad...it was better than Forza and since you don't have a PS3 you can still try it at the auto show when it comes to your town because GT is usually there with all the auto companies.
I think I read all the above comments. Maybe I missed something? I'm surprised there wasn't the usual joker(s) using the "processor doesn't translate to games" arguement.
Does your PSP still work? Even if it goes entirely digital from here, since can you download and re-download (at no extra cost) whatever you want, is it worth complaining about?
