I know because I saw the graphics through a crack in the window of the room where they played the demo for 2 rich and powerful people who I will not name. The way the kid puffed the smoke was killer. He inhaled it, and held it, and all the special effects made it the most rewarding visuals I've ever seen. That kid must have been smoking some top notch stuff because the entire screen was so detailed it was like a thousand armies of ants marched on screen to dance around while the kid coughe...
I should have thought of that one :)
But what's funnier is that everybody laughs and cheers but basically they just laugh at themselves for allowing a problem to be accepted. If the rest of life was like this there wouldn't be doctors and scientists working on cures for diseases taking our loved ones - and thank God Microsoft doesn't make medical equipment. But hey, let's have people die from Polio and just laugh about it and go swimming instead of doing something about it.
but they were real soldiers...unlike Fiddy.
I guess he's going to cap you with the magic stick. and it looks like the entire new kill streak in multiplayer is based off 50, cuz if he hits once he thinks he'll hit twice.
I say get rid of the Madden name. Since he isn't involved in the NFL anymore outside of being in the Hall of Fame as a coach it sucks EA doesn't have the balls to just use NFL 10. I would much rather pull a copy of NFL 10 off the shelf than a copy of "Madden". It's not like he's been doing extensive work on the commentary in the game. It's not like EA couldn't sell the NFL licensed game to the same ammount of people. Somebody start an online petition to get the name of the game...
All-Pro Football played better than NFL2K5.
this sucks.
Epic showed MS what the engine looked like running on the original 360 design specs and told them that if they increased the memory it would look like a second example they showed. Microsoft liked the 2nd more detailed version and spent a ton to increase the spec on the 360 because of the UE3. But from the looks of things Epic doesn't want to lose money because they have an engine that didn't perform well on PS3 at first. They obviously want other 3rd parties to continue to pay for the eng...
Super.
It's next year the pounding begins with the entire year at the lower price. Sony has moved a boatload of games to release next year at what appears to be a steady stream on top of the motion controls which should be out before the summer of 2010. I see most of the damage being done in the first half of the coming year. The economy is slowly getting better. I won't be surprised when people use tax refunds to dip in to HD gaming and blu-ray.
Square Enix should feel shame
I guess Sony has some deal, but most deals are not forever and/or could be broken with enough money to break them. Just from playing the demo and watching the Joker it looks like it will be great because I heard he has his own moves and it looks like they will be full of cheap shots and stuff. If you have the option to pick it up on either system however I would definetely recommend the PS3 just in case the deal sticks.
now hurry
Siren was actually scary. The rest of the horror games gave you the ability to do more damage and knowing my character is a badass that can bring it when need be takes the fear away. Siren (even though a remake) is the only game that produces genuine scares.
This article wanted less Contra - more cowbell.
The more I read and hear about how this is a lot like Contra, the closer I get to buying it. I heard the movie is good too.
ha ha
...just goes to show the lack of thought put into the series. Not saying every game needs to be like Metal Gear, but whoring the franchise out like Dynasty Warriors or Halo ruins my respect for it.
Might as well be Madden Warfare 2
The first year/2 of this generation of consoles, there wasn't that many releases and even fewer "good" games in those releases. I'm not saying AC wasn't a decent game, but I do believe it benefitted from the gaming industry's lack of production. Now a bunch of games are being pushed to 2010 so AC2 will get another break, but I wasn't impressed with the first one so they won't get my money.
I heard Pong already did that on the Wii :)
