It's not been the sort of year playstation fans have been used to. But I think it's wrong to say it's been a bad year as it hasn't.
They still managed to release Helldivers 2. Astro Bot, FF Rebirth, Stella Blade. As well as a few remasters and remakes.

I didn't know about it using Ampere. But still with Devs being able to squeeze every drop performance out of a switch 2. Plus with access to DLSS I think 4K docked for some games is achievable.
Yup I got Spiderman ones from alliexpress for the slim and they look just like the ones Sony released. Just doesn't have a playstation logo top corner and the quality is really good.
How is it a cash grab? They ain't putting a gun to anyone's head and forcing people to buy they are simply giving another option.
If they made games exclusively for the Pro then sure it's a cash grab. But they ain't so it's just a option for the consumer. Don't want it don't but it Sony don't get your money (what a lousy cash grab this is turning out to be lol).
See the thing is. I don't really follow FF they are not my type of game. Ain't the FF7 in three parts? Only 2 have been released so far I believe. With a third probably 2-3 years away. I doubt they will release any of them on Xbox until all 3 are out.
Now as for FF16 after all the rumours I'm surprised noting so far has been said.

I can see them having a equivalent of a rtx 4050. Probably will see 4k 30fps games in dock mode. 1080p being a focus handheld.
Would he crazy to see Breath of the wild or tears of the kingdom I'm 4k 60 on a switch 2 or 4k with ray tracing.
So no final fantasy rebirth or 16 just the very old pixel remaster and not on GP? Got a bit excited by StarCraft Remaster thinking it was coming to console. Nope gamepass pc lol.
That's a bit crappy. I got the digital version free from Sony due to that play at home thing a few years ago. But still it's a crappy move.
The only issue I find is a lot of countries don't have PSN. So they miss out on the latest Sony PC releases.
But for someone like me who lives in the UK I don't have a issue.
Looks great. I have to wait until 10th October I believe to pre order one. As today's pre orders are Sony direct only.

I enjoyed majority that was shown. The VR games down where good I know all about Hitman VR but I'll happily play again on PSVR2. Metro VR looks great. Midnight Walk (reminded me of nightmare before Christmas) looked interesting as well.
New Ghost game is very welcome. Fear the spotlight is something I'll buy.
I'll happily upgrade Horizon Zero Dawn for £10. Happy about last of us remaster coming to ps+.

That's crazy to me. Like good on you for going with a high end system. But why the 5800x3d? Great CPU yes but it's on a end of life platform and slow ddr4 ram?
Even at 4k resolution I believe there will be a bit of a bottleneck for that 4090. With plenty of bottleneck for 1440p and horrible bottleneck at 1080p.
If you are spending what $1800 on the GPU. Then something like $450 for the 5800x3d. When a AM5 7900x3d cost the same price. More cores a...
