Question about the people who keep banging on about the stand. I have my slim standing up without a stand. I don't touch it unless I dust it or (very rare) put a disc in. Almost a year on its not fallen over.
What do people do to there consoles they badly need a stand? Do use doggy style the PS5 ethernet port on a daily basis?

So a Xbox version of the steam machines. So the likes of HP/Dell/Lenovo can make them. That's just basically a PC with a Xbox logo on it lol. But I think that's the way they are going to go same with the rumoured handheld.
I disagree I think the best thing for Xbox is. Just released everything everywhere. They have many studios many IP. Just take time make many great games. Sell them to as many people as you can. You want to keep doing GP then fine. But the places where GP don't exist like playstation like Nintendo sell the games. Make all the money you can and keep the investors happy.

I think console gamers have about 3-4 years now to get prepared and change. Things ain't going to get cheaper.
You tell Sony or a Microsoft (if they are still making consoles by then) you want a cheap console. So they make make a low powered series S type console. Not much of a power jumper from previous generation.
Or you move to PC (this costs money every few years).
I'll happily tell anyone to give PC gaming a try. It's a great experience. I don't get the whole "but the pc can do so much more" argument. People are looking at buying a console are looking to pretty much play games and that's it. So why go on and on about ohhh but on a pc you can read your emails. You can pay your bills, you can watch dirty videos blah blah blah.

Most of them insist PS5 Pro potential buyers MUST buy the disc drive and stand (gives them a extra bit of money to try and get a pc close to the Pro value). You ask them where is the PC 4K Blu-ray drive then? They claim PC don't need media drives but PS5 does wtf?

I honestly more faith in Sega making a Dreamcast 2 and being serious competition to Sony or Atari coming back and making the Atari 6000 than I have Microsoft being serious competition to Sony anymore.
X is a entertaining read at times. I have seen some things that Jaydub, Timdog, and a few pro playstation users on there are cringe.

Can I ask about why the price is not justifiable? I'm fine with the £700 price as I understand the hardware inside is not cheap. I'm just wondering why the US get it a lot cheaper.
But in performance mode blurry parts can happen. Happens in Spiderman 2, Crew Motorfest for example anyone who plays games in performance mode will know this. It's the drawback or wanting 60fps on console rather than 30. The only game I genuinely can't tell a difference between quality and performance is demons souls.

Not being that guy. Not saying you said it. But people said PSVR2 was DOA and it's still a thing. People absolute crapped on the Playstation Portal and yet it's one of Sony's best accessories. Same goes for the dualsense edge. People seem to just see a price point and crap on things of late.
