Curious, The disc copies of Concord. Obviously people are going to be able to bring them back for a refund. However, What of people keep them. Surely they will come a collectors piece in due time? I recently sold a copy of Lawbreakers for £30. A physical copy of Fortnite (yes these exist) cost hundreds after a few short years out of circulation.
Some games simply don't need online MP. For example the new Astro Bot that is releasing soon.
Last of us had a really fun MP mode that didn't take away form the single player as did Uncharted. Same goes for Resistance and Killzone.
Other titles like Days Gone I think could of benifited with a co op option or a online mode similar to last of us.
Things like ratchet & clank again doesn't need any sort of co op or MP.
Another fun game but like concord to many similar games where around at the time of release. I believe the servers are back on for Lawbreakers if I'm not mistaken?
I really hope this shows Sony that the majority of users don't want GAAS. Stick to single player games or games with MP modes as well as single player.
It didn't even last as long as Radical Heights they released after lawbreakers and that game got the studio shut down a month after release.
Wow just wow but tbh it's for the best. I doubt they are just going to abandon it. I think they will rework it and release as a free to play game. But then there is no guarantee it will be a success.
Fans have been asking for a new killzone or socom or resistance for years. They could of taken one of them IP's and made into a online only MP and released as a FPS game. But instead thought Concord was a great idea another bloody hero shooter.
It's a though one for them. We know it's weak. They know it's weak. Studios know it's weak. They have that priority clause. Hence why these games are being delayed.
But they can't exactly ditch the property clause. As many Devs will skip the S and alienate 75% of the Series install base. Then what would be the point releasing to 25% when it's hard to get Xbox players to buy games in the first place ?

I feel bad for them. The game when I played the beta was somewhat fun. But when you have a near identical game in Destiny that's not only Sony own but is free to play and has a lot more to offer. Then you have other free to play games like Overwatch or on the PC side of things Counter Strike. Then the £40 game just gets lost in the shuffle. Even turning the game free to play sure it will help gain some numbers. But will it bring in the revenue Sony hope?

Nope sorry, I bought a disc copy fairly cheap recently. Installed it played for 2 hours now even though the performance on the series x (yes I have one of them again how long for god knows) is very good. I did a few quests and enjoyed the quests. The loading scenes where completely killing it for me.
I was actually enjoying the quests. But the navigation on the space map and then having to watch the ship take is so annoying and just takes away the fun I was having.
I think they need to make it f2p asap give the ones who paid for the game free season passes for as long as the game servers are up.
If they can still support destruction all stars (remember that game?) then I'm sure they can at least give Concord 4 years to try and do something.

I ready about the mobile port by modders. It's running at like 12fps it's unplayable. I heard even the ps5 performance is all over the place. So it the PS5 is struggling with it. Can you imagine the state of the Series S version? Since Microsoft has that stupid rule they can't just delay the S version and release it on X. So they had to delay the Xbox version.

I just played the crew 2 over the last month's. Fun game plenty of content and planety of players on playstation. Not bad considering it's 7 years old.
Just got the crew motorfest today and so far it's great and again plenty of people online.

I thought this was just a year 1 dlc pass? Like lots of games do. Like The Crew 2 and Motorfest.

Forward thinking from Sony. Same drive for the slim works for the pro. Great idea imo. I'll happily sell my slim minus the drive for £250 and attach the drive to the pro.
