This ranks as one of the most illogical articles yet. When Sony touted PS3 as not just a gaming console but also a supercomputer and media machine, were they abandoning gamers?? Absolute rubbish!
'Dominate' meaning what? Given the factors listed, it appears that the author is referring to sales of consoles. If so, I disagree. 360 is likely, given the current empirical evidence, to dominate in that area because of Kinect.
Funny that you chide on 'haters' and then go on to express your deep hate for 'M$'.
Great news! Kinect is already a hit and shows great promise for developers and users alike, so naturally we will see more investment in better and more innovative games for Kinect.
You guys need to grow up. FF was bad because it was horribly designed. Nothing that the blu-ray capacity could have fixed.
After what we've seen this gen of everything JRPG, I'm not holding my breath for anything from the FF universe.
I don't see how the Activator is similar to the Kinect. The intended goal is the same, but the method of achieving it, and the effectiveness, are worlds apart.
I never had as much an immersive experience with an RPG since the Ultima series until I stumbled upon Oblivion, so I have high, high, high, high hopes for Skyrim.
Well they were the ones responsible for Too Human...
The proof of a pudding is in the eating, not in your banterings.
I think the issue is playtime per dollar spent. But I'm more interested in having a great experience that I would not hesitate to replay.
Beg to differ, I think Oblivion had a great main plot and many many great subplots, and all that makes the experience all the more engaging, whether you choose to explore all the subplots or not.
It is pretty much the same game every year anyway, I'm surprised it even sold this much.
Well, let's see what happens when Nintendo 3DS releases...
Grasping at straws much?
Based on TESIV and Fallout 3 and the screenshots and the track record of the developers... I'd pretty much say GOTY too!
I must say I'm looking forward to this game more than any other for this year.
Just stop it with "GT is not a game", you sound ridiculous.
I enjoyed both UCs for the graphics, cinematography, storytelling and characters. In terms of gameplay, it is decent as a third person shooter, but I do not find the platformer sequences a challenge. To that extent, it is overrated, but as a total package, it delivers.
NFS series has been improving - I really enjoyed the first Shift, and the more recent Hot Pursuit was the best racer for me last year. But while Shift may stand tall against other racers, we're talking about top dog Forza here, so my vote definitely goes to Forza.
