Whilst everyone else's (well most reasonable peoples) opinion is that it's too expensive.
For the X to be profitable then surely it has to appeal to the mass market and not just the hardcore crowd, how is it going to do that when it's twice the price of an Xbox One S and the PS4 Pro is $100 cheaper ?
$499 is a ridiculous price for what is essentially just an upgraded Xbox One you'll only appreciate with a 4K TV, and even then the Xbox One S uses HDR, up-scale...

I replayed Red Dead Redemption, Bioshock, GTA 4 and Forza Horizon 1 recently-ish.
But whose balls do I have to tickle at MS to get Crackdown and Forza 4 on BC ?

Would love to see Sunset Overdrive 2 but based on Insomniac's recent comments I highly doubt it's in production.
I can't imagine Phil Spencer creating a new team to make SO2 even if MS did own the rights to the IP, which I'm not sure they do.
But he should IMO, the first one sold over 1.1 millions copies and a lot of people played it free with GWG, there's got to be enough demand to warrant a sequel. And it's a bloody good game too.

There's enough good games out there for all consoles to keep us occupied in the mean time.
Both Sony and MS have been guilty of announcing games too early this gen.
Crackdown, Cuphead, Detroit, Dreams and FF7 remake, are just 5 off the top of my head.

Forza Horizon 3 certainly wasn't a disappointment, christ, best driving game this gen by far, it's closet rival being FH2.

To be fair to MS they've only released one new Halo and Gears game so far this gen.
Halo 6 and Gears 5 haven't even been announced yet.
Forza 7, god I hope they improve the career mode.
Forza Horizon has a deeper tournament type system in that you gain points for your finishing position and if your not top at the end of the championship then you've not completed it, tough titty, none of this third or better bollocks then on to the next race like in Forza 6.
Forza Motorsport has amazing graphics, 1080p LOCKED 60fps, great physics. The handling, weight distribution and tyre grip puts PCars on the cons...
A truly phenomenal game.

This generation didn't start in 2016 when MS announced the XB1/Win10 "exclusives" you know.
