"instead of just an arcade racer that's pretending to be a sim."
That's a bit harsh on Driveclub isn't it ?
:D
Let's all hope that the console versions of PCars 2 aren't rush jobs like the first one.
Still, Forza 7 will probably be the better driving game, the feel of your tires gripping the road simply wasn't there in PCars 1, like it is in Gran Turismo and Forza.
I read somewhere that the PC version of PCars has up to three times the amount of polygons used for the cars compared to the console versions.
I haven't played PCars on the PS4 but I can tell you that the xb1 version looks pretty crap, Forza 4 on the 360 looks better IMO. And don't get me started on the controller.
PCars on consoles is a poor PC port IMO, a scandalous bag of wank.
Nah mate, that's Arkham Knight.
Too much batmobile.
Dude, the PS4s UI is a joke, it's rubbish, a poorly designed mess.
To see what I have downloading, demos, games in the sale etc, we now have to go to Notifications, then press the Options button on the controller, scroll down to Downloads and then we can see our downloads.
WHAT THE ACTUAL ????? That is such a convoluted method of just seeing what you're downloading, awful design. The Downloads tab/option/marker whatever you want to call it was just listed under N...
I've purchased all of the previous GT games, mostly at launch, but GT Sport will be the first one I miss out on.
Loved the series, was a huge fan of the first 4 GT games but let's face it, Forza Motorsport took their crown since FM2 was released back in 2007. I used to be a huge GT fanboy and didn't buy FM2 till late 2008 when a mate who was living with my family and I persuaded me to get it, "I've got GT4 and 5 will be out soon for my PS3, why do I need a GT cl...
TLOU and Ni No Kuni.
Ni No Kuni for me, not played P5 yet mind.
Cities Skylines is too addictive, New Detroit won't build itself.
The 3DO ?
:)
And that's fascinating.
Now let's compare download speeds for games in the UK shall we?
PSN is ridiculously slow, I purchased TLOU Left Behind a few months back in the sale for £3 odd, bargain, took over 20 hours to download though.
Be patient mate.
We're bound to get some more info in the next decade.
Maybe we'll get a tech demo of how that fog interacts with the characters facial hair next year.
Gamers nowadays, so impatient :D
@ asmith2306
I preferred KZ3 over KZ2. Both good games don't get me wrong. Completed 3, some of the final levels were awesome. Didn't complete 2 though, that slog at the end with constant re-spawning enemies at the Visari Palace, twas relentless.
The water looked shit though ...........
Run Obidan they're coming for you ... :D
Oh Andrew, I've had some crazy replies in my time but I think this one takes the biscuit.
"The game ended up being much better." What? We are discussing the same trailer here aren't we? The E3 2005 trailer which was plugged as gameplay footage, they did the same with Motorstorm too.
"You, like so many, fail to understand what you are even saying when you claim that "Killzone 2 didn't look like the target render". &q...
"They were so close to their target render for Killzone 2 on PS3."
lol, thanks for the laugh.
Even modern day top end PCs probably couldn't run that footage that they showed.
Sony should've kept Evolution open and had them make a GT spin-off, something like the Forza Horizon series.
I'd love an open world GT game.
@TheEnigma313
It's not the Wii U you know.
There are plenty of games available now plus the future releases, console exclusives coming soon such as Tacoma, Cuphead, Forza 7, Crackdown 3 plus all of the third party software.
Christ, just because the PS4 released a load of good exclusives earlier this year and the XB1 didn't everyone assumes that the XB1 has "no games". It's an ignorant, dumb and untrue comment designed to ...
DAMAGE CONTROL !!!!!
Probably not.
GT Sport is just around the corner, what with it being online focused and a big series in Europe the increase is merely a greedy cash grab.
When GT Sport releases you can expect a big jump in PS+ subscribers, so raising the price by £10/10 euros is not necessary it's just pure greed, making a little bit extra on one of their biggest IPs.
It's genius in a way, an evil genius way.
I grew up with GT, the first game was really something special so Polyphony will always have a place in my heart even though I won't be getting GT Sport.
But I worry that this game could be the death of the GT series.
I believe GT is Sony's biggest selling gaming IP/series, unless Sony really push the message that this is multiplayer on-line racing only in their marketing then they are going to have a lot of pissed off customers on their hands.
GT ...
