I was hoping for a little discount on GT7, too bad. I bought Stranger Paradise at 25% discount instead.
I agree Death Stranding works as a single original game, but I think Kojima knows what he's doing.
It will probably be completely different from the first one, gameplay-wise. Maybe with a similar concept, but I don't think we're getting more of the same for a delivery man simulator.
Awesome news! I loved Furi. I was not expecting DLCs at all, let alone a PS5 upgrade.
Weird, I had no issues with the multiplayer so far.
Yes it's a bit tight, but after you remove it the first time it should come out easier.
Did you try using a password? Or maybe you just can't summon anyone anymore because you already beat the boss of the area.
Bloodborne was thematically original and this brought it success. Elden Ring has a less emphasis on thematics, it's pretty much just Dark Souls, but gameplay -wise... it's just on another level, I've never seen an open world done this right.
Elden Ring's open world is nothing like those generic and abused open worlds that have been around in the last years. Exploration is the most meaningful thing, and it constantly rewards the player for his curiosity. It's an incredible achievement.
I'm 40 hours in Tales of Arise, amazing game, well deserved. I'm a Monster Hunter fan, but I'm giving Tales an edge for this one myself: Rise is a great game but it lacks a little bit of content.
I didn't play SMTV though, I think it might be a valid contender.
I'm on the classic plan, as an old subscriber, so this doesn't affect me at all, I already pay 12$ a month. But I've been skipping every single month since March 2021, so...
Agreed, it's one of the best fighting games of the last... 10 years maybe? Still no GOTY nominations.
@z2g
I felt the exact opposite. The writing in Returnal is very good and intriguing, Deathloop just seemed pretty dumb to me.
Gameplay-wise both are good.
To me it just looks like an in-engine trailer. Yeah it's real time, but I highly doubt it's actual gameplay, the camera is way too scripted.
Still looks very good of course.
Yes, it was my very first game for the PS3 and I agree it felt like something PS2 definitely couldn't run.
I remember feeling astonished by the reflections on the mud and the quality of the vehicles. It was a lot of fun.
Agreed, I'm 30 hours in and absolutely loving it.
A cartridge doesn't need an internet connection either, you just need it to download the game the first time, then you don't need it.
I know it's not exactly the same thing, but I think it would be a good compromise to keep physical copies alive and limiting costs.
Yes, you still rely on external servers to download the game for the first time, but if you keep it on the drive then it can be played until the drive lasts.
I'm stuck with my Digital PS5 because it was the only model I managed to buy at the moment, but i absolutely agree physical should never die, it has so many advantages.
Still, I have to say optical drives are a waste of resources and an obsolete piece of hardware. Physical copies should just be cartridges, or even "tags", that you need to insert in a console to download and play the game. They work exactly like disks, excepts they need an internet connection t...
The game is stunning, well deserved. My only gripe is that it feels a bit like a big Forza 4 DLC.
Still very good, nonetheless.
You can also just log into your account from a friend's PS5, then return to your PS4 with the games unlocked.
