You don't play as a trans and you should actually play a videogame before talking like this.
Abby is muscular because she wanted to be strong. And yeah, she's ugly because of that, we can have ugly characters too you know.
She also has very masculine look because for some interpretations she represents another version of one certain man se killed...
@Applyo
You think we're so dumb not to notice you're a troll account with 5 comments huh?
It's because of persons like you that it's impossible to take too seriously the hate about this game. You're digging your own grave.
Try again next time buddy.
Well Sekiro was a very good take. My favourite game with this kind of setting.
I mean, it's hard to say without playing the actual game, but from the video it just looked derivative and not very inspired. It may still be fun, I'm just not hyped for this release at all.
To be honest, I watched the gameplay videos and it didn't impress me that much. Graphically very impressive, the setting looks great, but gameplay-wise It looks like an Assassin's Creed type of game, not something I would enjoy.
Paper Mario gets released the same day so I'm gonna go with that one. I want to hear some opinions before buying this.
Ow, that sounds awful. Must be a 60 on metacritic. Let me see-oh wait.
I can't stand when people is clearly, clearly nitpicking and they exaggerate things because they WANT to hate the game. Most times for political reasons, apparently.
We got the same reaction for Death Stranding because it was the same thing.
With Death Stranding it was only easier to get why people disliked it. It was not a game for everyone, and not in an "elitist" sense. Just not everyone enjoys it.
For me, BotW was a fantastic reinvention of the Zelda formula. It was Zelda, the "original" open world game, but in a modern open world. It worked out so well for me.
But there were still some problems. The major problem I had is that the story, even if I thought it was ok and the dungeons were totally amazing, was very short. I wanted more, way more.
Also, the game needed more real sidequests aside from the shrines, it was actually kind of bori...
I'm not a fan of Slant, at all, but I love how the review says "This game was reviewed using a retail copy purchased by the reviewer".
Like, "look, I bought the game myself, ok? No bribes or s**t like that"
A good review of TLoU2 that comes out 2 weeks after the embargo lifted from a harsh site? What's going on?
I wouldn't say BotW is overrated. I see where the high scores come from, it achieves something really remarkable.
What puzzles me is the consistency of those scores, but this happens very often with critics.
@DrDeath: it was not an aesthetic choice.
It was character development.
@Final_Aeon
I think that is just a perception.
In this game you actually "play" a lot more than the first one, with more combat and new enemies. This is accounted by almost everyone.
So, for me, people that think this game is boring is because of the combat itself.
But as I already said in another article, I think this is a misperception given by the surrounding hate.
Not gonna say it is objectively, just what I think....
1. It was a movie critic, not a videogame
2. It was not a paid reviewer, but a phantom reviewer.
It's a totally different story. A fake critic is a way, way easier method to get high scores, but that's very unlikely to happen in these metacritic days.
There is no reason for publishers to pay reviewers because they just don't care that much. Everyone who worked for the critic can tell you that.
Sales are not that affected by critics, on...
Interesting how every comment about this game is positive now. I remember it being very harshly criticized back in the release date, pointing out it was buggy, messy, uninspired and bland.
I guess if the same treatment will go for that "other zombie game".
@Final_Aeon:: you're right. Thing is, politics in games are going to be less and less inevitabile as time goes by.
I can't deny it's an interesting topic, but the thing that does make me mad is the fact that everyone is using little "lame" details to fuel the game's hate flame. So, I can't do anything but think that a lot of people that hate the game probably just found every little unobserved detail to justify their hate, because they HAD to hate the ga...
@final_Aeon
You should recognize we're not (or at least, I'm not, can't tell for the others) triggered by who doesn't like the game, but by people with obvious flaming intentions.
If I sound triggered it's because I am. But not because not everyone likes the game.
How is it hypocrisy? I'm perfectly fine wirh every legit opinion.
The only one that I can't accept are the one thaf don't show arguments at all.
If you're genuinely not having fun with the game it's not my business.
If they come, they're going to yell at themselves. I call myself out, I'm done with this.
The worst thing about The Last of Us is that it made me realize that the gaming community is still a bunch of crybabies that just can't accept different opinions, and instead of discussing they yell at each other pretending to be right.
I'm ashamed to be a gamer right now.
At least the game was good for me.
It's not cool to say this on the internet apparently, but for me it's the other way around...
