@SniperControl:
"Here is the scenario with installing/downloading games on an external, the HDD can be unplugged from the X1 and plugged into a PC, files decrypted and copied for pirating purposes relatively easily."
and the hard drive inside the Xbox One can't be removed manually and connected to a PC?
"Dont think MS are gonna allow this, it would be suicide on a massive scale"
Also, it is spelled &q...
No, the Xbox One has upgraded technology for higher bandwidth on the wireless connection. This means higher quality sound, but at the cost of no backwards compatibility with existing wirless equipment for Xbox 360.
It is only distracting if you have a small TV and suffer from pen!s size comparison.
On another note, I thought the headset wasn't going to be included. I guess that is good news for some, but I will be using Kinect One. Welcome to the future!
This is not an article about PS4, but since people dragged it in:
All 4 1! :D
The PS Vita feature is a feature the vast majority of future PS4 owners won't be able to use, unlike on the Wii U.
So if anything, it is forcing developers to put resources into something very few will use on PS4 as opposed to the Wii U where 100% of it's owners will be able to use!
Chew on that for a little bit....
It's kind of stupid to argue specs because PC *ALWAYS* win.
Consumers choose consoles because of ease of use and features, so let's forget specs. It is futile, so accept it consolist!
Console will never beat PC evar!!!
@SniperControl:
"@No_Limit
Are you so naive?
Do you honestly think MS is going to allow installation of games on an external HDD?"

"Do you honestly think MS is going to allow you to install games onto cloud?"
They kind of already do if you buy ...
@BluEx610
"What's with all the Xbox Fanboys defending AA batteries??? That shit's annoying to replace and dies out way too fast. Another $25 for charging kit that should've came in the box.... "
What is more annoying is being attached to your console on 6ft cable while using a 50" plus screen!
User replaceable battery means, instant battery switching and no cable attached to your console. No need to leave the consol...

"Exactly why you shouldn't be writing articles."
I'm not as of yet, but if I did, I wouldn't be stupid enough to put my real name.
"If you lack the courage of your convictions, if you aren't willing to stand and defend your opinion against others, you shouldn't be a journalist."
We are talking opinion here, we are talking about real danger. You express an unpopular opinion...
I will go all digital!
Instant switching between games, and instant access without having to store my games at home is a win.
Also, this is minor, but having to get up and swap disc when I want to play a different game is a small hassle.
With discs, the background smart matchmaking wouldn't work as well. After all, how can I be playing Quantum Break, while waiting for a smart matchmaking of CoD and instantly switch over!
...
Remember when people used to proclaim, "I don't want a smart phone, I want a phone to talk on it, not to game on it".
Fast forward five years and most likely the vast majority of phones are smart phones!
Multi-tasking and TV features is the future of consoles. The sheeps just don't know it yet!
Yup, MS tried to screw us over by giving us the ability to do the following with our digital games:
* instantly lend/share the games
* trade-in the games
* sell the games
Something no other digital platform does!
They really tried to screw me over, or did the people complaining that had an alternative with PS4 screw me over?
I can't speak for other gamers, but for me it certainly felt the latter!!!
I think this is key. We don't know until we get hands on.
On the surface, PSN as it is now *seems* similar to Xbox Live, but once you use it, you realize the differences.
Xbox Live is far easier to use, more people talk online, and there is party chat/cross game chat, revamped dashboards with new featurs and so on, but this comes at a fee while PSN is completely free.
You will have to wait and see, get some real hands on time before you ...
@darkride66:
"Can't stand "articles" by anonymous authors. If you can't stand behind your articles using your real name, you shouldn't be writing."
I wouldn't put my name out there with an unpopular opinion on the internet. Too many crazies!
You just have to say the wrong thing, and end up getting strangers waiting for you at home!
Satire isn't newsworthy. In addition, I think opinion pieces should be in it's own section with a stricter set of requirements.
There are way too many poorly written opinion pieces riddled with grammar mistakes and poorly researched content.
MS responded correctly. What MS did do wrong was the unclear messaging from the get go and the lack of explaining benefits.
It seemed like to MS digital only was so natural yet it was charting unknown territory. The fear of digital is very real and people reacted to it in an irrational way, and the only way to subside that is to strongly come out and denounce the plans.
I hope it comes back though. Not a huge fan of stone age physical disc.
I will be excited for the new features of Xbox One, such as smart matchmaking and multi-tasking/instant-switchin g and what developers can do with Kinect One.
Kinect One looks nothing short of amazing with all the updates and the massive jump in tracking ability.
Other than that, I kind of agree with the author. Everything else is just more of the same with more pixels on PS4 and to some minor degree Xbox One(without the mentioned features Xbox One is essenti...
OMG, I love Tetris!
I still play it on occassions after so many decades. I can't say that about most other AAA games.
Experience still wins over graphic any day!!!
@mcstorm:
spot on!
Specs matter little when they are so close. If it was about power, PC would have killed console market a long time ago.
Ultimately, consoles are about content, ease of use and access, and features. Just look at past history!
That video is so full of win and soooo true!!!
