I don't know, but StarCraft is still my premier and only RTS I play!
That depends on who you ask.
I love them, and so do many others. That is why franchises like Dance Central and Kinect Sports sell more than many core AAA games!
I'm interrested to see whatever comes for the new Kinect. I want to see what more it is capable of.
So far Xbox Fitness is fantastic and I hope MS expand on that greatly. Would be willing to pay a small monthly fee for it if content increases.

Which shows again, all major online etailers sold out of Xbox One.
There might be pockets that have Xbox One in stock due to supply exceeding demand, but it certainly isn't the case for most people to just walk in and get one.
I have been trying to get an Xbox One Day One edition for the first week of launch with no luck, still hasn't been able to find one.
It is sold out everywhere, and sold out at all the retailers I checked around me. Wish I was in NY. Clearly they got way too much stock.

I like most people love Valve, but I'm not seeing anything that really would get me to buy a Steam console.
The appeal of a $500 PC is certainly there, assuming it is worlds better than my console, but then I realize, most of the PC games not on Steam won't work. That means awesome games like WoW, CoD, StarCraft, Diablo and so on won't work.
Also with the numerous configurations, are we just getting a PC with a Valve label or are we truly getting ...
That is assuming Xbox One didn't sell anything, which is obviously not the case! It wouldn't surprise me if MS sold similar numbers in less than half the region Sony is selling their console in.
Fact of the matter is, for each console manufacturer, supply is constrained and demands outstrips it.
Hence, it is meaningless to talk numbers, that will be a rounding error for both MS and Sony in 2 years time.
I notice a lot of people that have a negative association with Kinect, is the same people that is uneducated about the product and likely has no first hand experience.
Kinect voice command isn't perfect, but what it does this time around is having the features integrated right into the silicon. This means, more accurate recognition of both voice and body tracking.

It is standard practice to repair the console, but personally, I would take it back to the store and demand a new one. If they don't have one, to reserve me one when they do.
I don't take sloppy seconds on a purchase within 30 days.

if gakai is the killer app, then why would we care about the power of the console?
After all, Gakai can run on a Windows Phone, like how MS has shown Halo running.
Personally, I think for the most part, streaming game service will be even more annoying than lag in online multiplayer games...

That said, I like that I can start my entire entertainment system without bothering finding a controller or remote.
All I do is
1. say Xbox On
2. auto-recognizes the right person (I have multiple users and profiles)
3. say Xbox go to Netflix
4. then play whatever movie I want

I had a blast with my xbox one too.
voice control makes it super easy to navigate and auto sign in is super awesome. The games a blast and cannot wait for titanfalls.
