I would like to say I told you so that the sales figures will be much closer than all the made up numbers of 5-to-1 ratio between PS4 and Xbox One.
Fact of the matter is that both consoles sell out as soon as they are available.
However, I remember last generation when people were using revenue (i.e. the amount of consoles sold times the price) to try claim this and that.

I would add Quantum Break to that list, but don't know if that will release next year.
That and Titanfalls is my most anticipated followed with MGSV, Division and Watchdogs.
That said I got a crapload of previous generation game to play, but no time!
Maybe the third party copyright filers are the news industry fighting back, their lost control?
Seeing how the real copyright holder isn't the one filing all these claims....

I think in a sort time span of maybe 10 years, people that do not understand video games will be seen as old farts.
The gaming generation will move up the ladder, just like how comics and other mediums were viewed before us.

However, what VGX did to the awards was turn it into an amateur award instead of the much better VGA shows, meh thinks personally!
I think it has to do with trust, that if the machine is off, it is off i.e. it shouldn't be able to turn itself on again.
However, I'm not concerned about big brother on my console so MS should add that. I just want instant access whenever!

I understand that it is copyrighted material, but even the copyright laws acknowledges "fair use" in the news industry that profits from this as well.
Point being, we need to loosen the stranglehold on copyrighted material a little. I see no problem with this, ramblings or not if somebody else is willing to watch it and click on ads.
I know this opens up a can of worms, because how do you enforce it, and how do you segregat...
my store bought batteries for xbox one controller will outlast your puny battery on the ps4 controller several times over and it won't have an annoying flash.

Capable is far from practical.
The Xbox 360 could display games in 1080p, yet not many did. Same with PS3.
Heck, one could display a one colored picture in 4k. High resolution is possible at the cost of pixel quality!

I make money off open source software when I implement it into others system.
When I use math laws figured out by others, I profit from that. There is nothing wrong with profiting off someone elses work, especially if that work promotes the other party as well!
So these editors make money promoting the developers/publishers game. Ironically, publishers are profiting from the hard work of developers....

I agree. I bought this game on the Xbox 360, but would love to upgrade to Xbox One for $10.

It didn't really bother me if the content is on one platform only, because I get the impression the console manufacturer paid for the content. Something that might not have been done without them.
However, this just seems odd, so I hope this is time exclusivity at work.

Practically every unit manufactured and shipped to those regions are sold out.
They are more even than you think. Next year is when the real battle begins and likely starts in March when heavy hitter games start driving console sales, instead of demand outstripping supply in the holiday and launch rush.

What I find ironic is when MS made a digital resale market for digital games, cutting out GameStop, they were lambasted for it while Sony praised.
Go figure!
Until today, nobody else allows digital resale of games so MS wouldn't just be the first console manufacturer to do it, but the first one ever.
I don't get this console exclusive dlc on both consoles. It seems more to generate the most cash for Konami, and to screw consumers!
This is a huge turn-off and I think I will jump on Titanfall first.

Kinect is a large part of the Xbox One. If you don't like it, there are alternatives.
Others really like the voice recognition and skeleton tracking, like me.
What I don't know what to say is, why does it bother people so much that it does more. Imagine if people screamed about how smart phones shouldn't do anything, but make calls. Oh wait, people did and now they can't imagine a phone that *just* makes phones calls! ...

I'm not saying that n4g does not adhere to copyright claims, but rather n4g benefits from reporting other peoples news simply because the law is on their side with "fair use".
Fair use should apply to these videocasts as well....
