I know I'll catch a lot of flack for this, but if I'm being honest, these screenshots don't look all that "amazing". Yes the scope is nice, but its not open world. Maybe it's just the screenshots not doing the game justice. Heck, even HD videos I've seen haven't impressed me much, except for the scope...and Forge World of course. Anyway, I've never been a huge fan of the Halo series, but the one thing that I actually like the games for are their gameplay ...
Look....I understand a game company wants its game to sell. I understand the "potential" in Kinect. I understand that many think Kinect is not for "core" gamers. My only problem is that it seems like developers are trying too hard to justify the potential of hardcore games for Kinect in the future. Actually, a while back (maybe like over a month ago) a bunch of leaks or info or something came out about Windows 8. Pretty much every feature of kinect is supposed to be used in the OS. Your pc would have a camera built in i assume and when it sees you or your face at least, it would log you into your account. and when you get up and leave it would log you off. i had no idea the ps2 eyetoy could replace your body with an ingame character! that anti-grav game or whatever its called just proved that to me in that video. i thought all eyetoy games always showed a reflection of you in the background....kinect really has a lot to prove to me now!

the thing that really bugs me is when people, like a commenter on that site, says that kinect will offer minority report type stuff. WTF. nothing shown of kinect is ANYTHING like minority report. if anything, that kinect dashboard is like using a mouse on a computer. from what was shown at e3, you move the hand pointer onto one of the tiles (icons) for like a second or two and it selects it. and swiping from left to right or vice versa with your hand is far from something new or futuristic. i forgot about that. i only played halo 3 on my friends' 360s and that was just coop and multiplayer. plus the environment for forge world in reach looks way larger than the one in halo 3. i could be wrong though since i've never tried forge mode in 3.
Forge World...this feature alone would get me to buy an xbox 360 because i love creation. its why liitlebigplanet is one of my favorite games on ps3. also, who wouldnt just like to run, fly, or drive around big open spaces like that with other people online. thats why i love gta4's free mode so much. as soon as i get the money for 360, halo reach will be my first game.

well, to be fair, i highly doubt casuals will buy an external hdd or try to hack it....just saying
i will get a kinect one day when its either cheaper and/or i get the money to get the bundle since i dont have a 360. i'll be playing my brother's though. it would be better though if sony included the navigation controller in the bundle. hell, it would be better if sony added motion to it by adding the ball on it so that way we could move the game character and have motion in both hands, and then they should add a analog stick to the move so we can move the game camera around ingame....
Same here, except i plan on getting it when I finally buy a 360 (though i dont know when that'll be). It will be my first 360 game....if anyone doubted that Halo would have massive sales, they are crazy. I'm not even a big fan of halo, but Bungie has convinced me into buying it.
