honestly, besides the character redesign, the trailer wasn't too bad. At least to me, the combat looked similar to past games in the series with the over the top combat. I just hope th controls aren't laggy like Heavenly Sword and Enslaved. DmC should have quick, responsive combat like past games.

Great score, but calling it the best sports game this generation is a little too much. Then again, a review is an opinion. I know one thing though--It'll be interesting to see 2k12's score and review.
If yearly update games (sports games) are supposed to get better with each iteration, then I hate when something like "best _____ game of this generation" is said.
My exact thoughts. They said fake, counterfeit, or non-licensed controllers....not 3rd party. I bet this is more so for the hackers who were connecting there phones and other devices that aren't controllers to ps3's.
It's definitely better than a 5GB install, but still....If it was optional, cool, but this is more of capcom's developers just not up to grips with ps3 hardware still.

I hope they keep the cell though. Just make it more powerful if possible or add more than one cell if production costs become a lot cheaper by the time ps4 comes around. That way developers won't have to learn anything new and still have a powerful system. Oh yeah, and a waaaaay better gpu is also needed.

It says it has a dvd encoder/emulator (not drive), a sound processor, graphic processor/ and its own processor. So I assume you would put the disc in the ps3 and it decodes it or whatever to work with the adapter. I also assume it will upscale it and have better audio for ps2 games because of the built in processors.
I don't need it since I have a BC 80gb ps3, but if I didn't, I would definitely consider buying it. Yes, I still play ps2 games every once in a while.
Please stop the bitching about BETAs. I'm pretty sure the access to them by Plus members are for open BETAs. Closed ones are a different matter entirely. Like everybody already knows, it's HALO, it will sell. I know this would never happen, but if a crappy HALO game was released it would still sell like this because it's HALO. For comparison's sake, HALO is to Microsoft what Mario is to Nintendo. Plus, most people with a 360 buy shooters. I plan on getting Reach as well though.

I had a feeling Microsoft would release a Kinect bundle for the 250GB. However, I didn't think it would be $399 like the PS3 Move bundle. Anyway, I think they're both good deals in terms of price for what you get. My only skepticism is of Kinect itself.
Actually, when I first saw the pics and videos, I thought it looked awesome. After seeing more and more of it though, it does look a tad weird. It's very impressive though, considering it procedural damage, but the editor does have a point--at times it does look like puddy.

Actually, I don't think this mod/hack is a bad thing in terms of homebrew software applications and games. The problem however, lies in the backup and pirating of games. I would hate for Sony to be able to ban a person's console if they are only hacking it to make homebrew software. I hope they find a way to only ban consoles which are playing pirated or backed up games, and not just for having a hacked console.
