Actually the reason they're even streaming in Home is because of all the people who were asking for it. I don't use Home much myself anymore, but there are a hell of a lot of people who do. It makes Sony a lot of money.

This game does not look breathtaking. It looks really good, but hardly breathtaking. Crysis 2 looks better. Even though these are screen captures, even HD videos and higher res pics do little to show this game as breathtaking. Just my opinion.

While I agree, it's not like they didn't have engineers already. You make it sound as if they didn't have any security at all. They're most likely just hiring more. Not to make excuses, but as I've said elsewhere, nothing is safe no matter the amount of security. If the Pentagon can get hacked, anything can.
No matter how much security something has, it can always end up compromised. Hell, even the Pentagon's (yes, the friggin Pentagon) computer's and networks were hacked. No amount of security is full proof.
If something like not being able to play games online or using PSN in general has ruined Easter for people, then that's pretty sad. I'm sure you didn't mean "ruined Easter" literally, but still, this is not that big of a deal. It's just a few days. Shit happens. It's not like you can't play games offline (excluding MMO's and online-only titles).

Darn you Ninty!! I get the feeling this is gonna throw the whole console cycle off now. Not that I don't want better graphics, tech, and whatnot, but I believe the 360 and PS3 still have plenty of life left. It's gonna be weird if the next consoles from Sony and MS come out a whole 2+ years after Ninty's new console.

Generational leap? No. You're over-exaggerating it. It looks marginally better than the older builds. Not saying it doesn't look good-it does, but not the best looking I've seen (not even close). Where Rage excels is in the tech behind the engine.
The maps are f'n huge. The graphics look great considering that too.

I agree with ya for the most part. id does have an awesome track record....So I just checked out the footage you mentioned from the Jace Hall show, and that's where I disagree. Especially when Jace said it was the best looking console game he had ever seen. In my opinion, Gears 3 looks better. I know I'm not seeing it on my own tv, but that was direct feed footage if I'm not mistaken. Still though, I mos def plan on getting Rage.
Same here. I used to use Firefox all the time, but then chrome was released, and now it's basically all I use. I think it would be great to have it on PS3.
Unfortunately though, if this turns out to be true, I won't be able to use it. My PS3 just got the YLOD yesterday morning while playing LBP2 (which is still stuck inside)....*cries profusely*
