Another negative Kinect story..what a shock...
What a troll thing to say, Microsoft opened 4 new studios just last year and bought Twisted Pixel.
I see more Sony commercials then Microsoft, in fact I never see Microsoft ads, while I see that idiot Kevin Butler hawking everything, but your never really sure what the hell he's selling...
Nobody cares....
Gears 3 should be on that list, it's better overall, especially online then Gears 2.
Also, no Left 4 Dead love on the list is a bit disappointing, but I like all the games up on the list anyway.
Deja Vu....kind of heard all of this before.
Definitely the best game of 2011!
A zombie game that looks a lot like Uncharted.
Maybe they should just recall all the unsold units that are currently in stock collecting dust here in the states?
The flops keep piling up, we'll just put this in the pile with the PSPGO, the PS2 HDD, the Move, Beta Max, Mini Disk players, xperia play and those 3-D displays that are already down in price by $200, and it's looking like it'll all have some more company soon!
You think the original NES was bad? that console saved the gaming industry as a whole and introduced us to some of the best characters of all time.
The Wii has a lot of great games, but unlike the PS3 and Xbox 360, Nintendo's first party efforts beat what's available from third parties.
Where as games like Skyrim and Batman Arkham City tend to be better then most first party games by Sony or Microsoft.
It would be their smartest move to make Halo 4 for the Xbox 360 and the 720. Halo is a console seller and you would want to release your most popular franchise with a console release.
Think about it, why start a new trilogy on old hardware?
All the facts point to Microsoft launching a new console this year. They opened 5 new studios, bought Twister Pixel, there are massive hiring's at Rare and Lionhead Studios and Crytek has come out and said Ryse is now...
I usually stick to XBL party chat when I roll with my clan mates, but we sometimes switch it to game chat when we want to talk a little trash. Sometimes it's fun to do that, just like in sporting events.
Sometimes people can be annoying, but that's what mute is for. I'd rather have people be a little annoying and communicate then not have a mic at all.
They list the PSN hack, but don't list the actual PS3 hack, which had people running around, driving cars in Call Of Duty games and much, much worse. Both those were the ultimate blunders of 2011.
Online passes are also something of a fail, seems like greed is safe and sound in the gaming industry.
I think Alan Wake is gaining a lot of attention lately, which is a great thing. This could be Microsoft's next big franchise if they play their cards right. Love to get new Alan Wake titles in the mix with the likes of Halo, Gears, Fable, Forza, Crackdown ect....
This is N4G, half a brain is being generous around these parts.
Remember way back in 2011 when people thought Battlefield 3 would take away from Call Of Duty? Ya, such crazy things were said back then.
Call Of Duty might not be for everyone, but just barely from the looks of the sales.
I'm guessing the Xbox 360 will go over 70 million lifetime this year, which is great for a sophomore release. I'm really looking forward to the new announcement of the next Xbox later this year though.
Glad to hear this, nothing is worse in a game then characters who don't have emotions about them.
(Edit) I played the other Tomb Raider games, they are okay but Laura lacked soul to define her character. I'm all for tough women, but even the toughest women or men have vulnerabilities.
Windows 7 Phone is coming off a huge year and will probably have a huge year.
Not sure why you'd think otherwise.
I don't think handheld gaming is dead, but it's niche and the implementation of smartphones isn't doing any favors for the genre.
Most people play handhelds on trips and on a little downtime, as a person that works 4 minutes from where I live, I don't really have the need for them, but with a Windows 7 or Iph...
If you want to so badly use Facebook, Youtube or Twitter and don't want to be a Gold Member then just use your computer.
I like the higher standard of a paid service to play online, you don't see a bunch of people with multiple accounts and I like that.
The HDD thing doesn't worry me, because I've not needed a bigger one and I can understand Microsoft wanting in on the profits of their own official ones. Wifi is something built in as it is, I...
The game is already a ghost town in comparison to MW3, MW2 and even Black Ops.
"Nailed it" is something I'd say if the game wasn't so bad at launch and if they hadn't opened their mouth about beating COD.
