Meh, it's still on PC
Cardi B is a hideous woman, with horrible vocals and the songwriting of a special Ed student and takes pride in being a criminal, yet she still can get millions of views in just lone day. Sometimes it's just a wonder to see how some people get famous, while some people who contribute more don't get the same views.
Cardi B has more views than Elvis or the Beatles. I don't go by numbers alone. If a game is high quality but isn't as popular, there's no shame in enjoying it.
I'm just saying, when the Kardashians and Cardi B make headlines, popularity just lost value. Only thing that matters is if it's enjoyable
Cardi B also gets millions of views in a couple hours, doesn't mean a thing.
Does raytracing fix bad textures? But there is a theory, not a great one just something i heard on reddit, that 343 butchered the demo on purpose to force MS to give them more time to fix some bugs and other stuff. Why else would they spend 2 years advertising a new state of the art engine only to severely downgrade it even worse than a ubi downgrade, that looks the same as the older ones?
What was shown in 2018 and 2019 looked good and was in engine, not sure why the drastic downgrade but it goes to show tech demos dont mean anything until its shown off in gameplay. Now hopefully with the delay they can upgrade it to what it was, given how COD Cold War went from looking last gen 2 months ago when it got leaked to looking full blown next gen just now
Just a couple months ago there were screens that were leaked that looked terrible, and now it looks like a proper next gen game. Im hoping Halo infinite can get the same results, the 2018 code still exists somewhere.
The 2018 and last years trailers were also clean as well. As 343 said in their post after the complaints less noise doesnt mean less detail. We still want the environmental details from 2018 as well as the facial animations from 2019.
Most of it just comes down to laziness from the devs, even tho 343 produced Halo 4 which looked pretty good for its time. Crossgen and weaker hardware didnt limit the Crysis trilogy or the Metro trilogy or MGS5 from becoming graphically great games.
At least they didn't use Cardi B to promote this game. This game might be good after all.
People praised what they saw last year and 2018, it was the best of the old art style but with near cgi graphics. We shouldnt compare this to low budget battle royale games.
With CyberPunk and The Observer and countless pc games that were graphical showcases, they cant use multiple hardware options as an excuse.
The graphics look better than the last gameplay demo. Hopefully Halo Infinite gets the same treatment.
Some devs focus on only making a great single player game, some devs focus on only making a great multiplayer game. With each Halo game you can be sure that both components are going to be good if not great. Not a whole lot of developers can claim that even if the new Halo games have fallen off track a little.
Kill zone shadow fall can practically stand toe to toe with the newer ps4 games
The problem is maybe the build has issues, like maybe the enemies might be noclipping out of the ground like they are being summoned from the devil, or weapons not functioning clearly. Thats why they only showed a couple seconds from the newer build. Some devs just have a more functioning build even two years before release and then downgrade a little. Im hoping they can do a reverse Ubisoft and somehow get close to the older reveal trailers. Maybe this might be a situation where they focus ...
Certain parts of the demo look much better than the parts that became memes. The area when Chief first walks out has detailed rocks https://i.redd.it/8cmnpyo7x... proper lighting, decent looking water reflections, and somehow in the second half of the demo all that detailed disappeared. With some simple adjustments this game can resemble the 2018 trailer, parts of it are already there like what i said with the realistically m...
I remember bungie had a couple vidocs that showed halo 3 with unfinishes textures, but that wasnt suppose to be a showcase tho, just a look at how they make the game. This is suppose to be a showcase, if they can clarify that the game will match the cutscenes, which the halo games usually do then i could see where those years building the new engine went to. But what matters most is if its a fun game, plenty of pretty games that just arent a lot of fun.
It's kinda sad that thats the goal that matters to the top execs as if it's worth bragging about when in reality I'm sure they could get it to the reveal trailer standard if they committed enough, even if we have to go back to the woeful 30 fps if it's an optional mode. What's the point in saying you spent 2 years making a new engine when it looks no more capable than the previous entries. Was any of the previous trailers legit or just false hope.
