Is there a better character model out there, sure its not photo realistic but halo tends to stay away from that. It holds up to the H2A cutscenes and thats impressive on its own. I think we're just spoiled from Uncharted 4 and Metro exodus which are already very impressive and hard to beat even for next gen. And its not CGI but actual in engine cutscene.
People say that Halo infinite doesnt look next gen enough but if you compare it to the. H2A blur cutscenes it holds up quite well. Ofcourse looking at gameplay would have sealed the deal, but it looks better than practically any game this gen which qualifies it as next gen.
Borderlands 3 was also supposed to be revealed last year too along with a couple other games from the walmart leak. Some might've been bogus but some just werent ready to be shown quite yet.
That was for splinter cell conviction and that demo was from like 2007 i believe, and yeah i was hyped for it too. If it goes the open world route, i wouldnt even complain if it incorporated those elements.
I hate when anything shoves politics in my face, but i dont mind how Seth Macfarlane uses politics in the Orville. I know politics is more than just left or right but i dont like obnoxious or exaggerated viewpoints, even tho Southpark and Family Guy soes just that but they make it clear and they arent loyal to just one side.
I only watched the first episode when it was on air, dont remember anything bad but i already have enough of a backlog so if its worth watching ill hopefully watch it when its off the service, but The Orville is definitely worth checking out even with the cheesy cgi( it is inspired by classic Star Trek), it might seem like a parody but it is its own show and has characters with a deep background that makes them believable even with their cheap costumes.

Sleeping Dogs was originally going to be True Crime Hong Kong but rebranded at the last minute correct? If Activision wanted to they can release a spiritual successor to that game just like the other devs did to True Crime Hong Kong. But why did Activision drop it and give it to another dev who basically just rebranded it is the big question, im guessing because the True Crime brand would've dragged it down.
The game is very satisfying to play but could definitely use a couple new maps or atleast map changes like night time or rain. Also some of the mechanics can be frustrating, like im pulling the trigger on someone 30 ft from me and it for some reason makes my character kick or punch, really frustrating when you shoot first and only have one team left and die because it wont allow you to shoot. Another thing it could use is different modes like singles or maybe even deathmatch.

There are very few games that look like their reveal. Even Sonys games got downgraded. But did they intentionally try to trick us, or is it what they call "vertical slice" where it really is legit but when adding the rest of the world and ai, they have no choice but to downgrade, cause its very easy to make a small environment detailed and thats what theyre hoping for and most of the time the end project is still close enough.
With the 7 brand new studios, i could definitely see atleast 4 showing off gameplays at e3 along with the other studios they have and maybe some partnerships like they did with remedy and insomniac even tho they said they want to focus on 1st party but exclusive is exclusive no matter what.
Yup Halo his just now getting a new engine, all others used the same engine and the graphics are something many people boast about except for certain areas in the last couple where the explosions and certain textures were flat.

While sony truly has wizards on their team that can produce games that seem impossible to achieveon the hardware that its on, theres no denying that Anthem or Gears 5 or Halo infinite looking amazing.

Death stranding and TLOU2 are going to look amazing but Halo 2 anniversary cutscenes and even Halo infinite if it looks like the tech demo would be easier to convince, cause all it takes is a couple animation errors and it'll throw you off,not that I'm dissing their choices.
As long as the character feels authentic then i dont mind, just dont want an actor to just cash in without caring about the role. Keith David and Nathan Fillion fit perfect in the Halo universe and they arent one of those actors who are are ashamed to be in a videogame, in fact Fillion begged Sony to sign him up for the Uncharted movie.
