I remember Halo Infinite getting slammed by everyone just because of the human character model not surpassing TLOU 2 or so they say, and not focusing on the positives like highly detailed textures and volumetric lighting and the detailed environment we saw last year if the final game actually achieves that on next gen.

Yeah i agree with the 15/hr being bs unless you're in CA, NY or HI. But giving the employees a livable wage doesn't equate with doubling or tripling a cheap product that's allowing everybody in corporate to retire comfortably by 40. Some people just can't afford or dont have the connections to get into high end jobs. Unless you're regional manager, there is no livable wage, unless you like ramen and dont have kids.

Thats pretty much what they meant for the game. 1 Its for the player to feel like they are the character, even tho he still has a voice unlike in Bioshock or Halflife. 2 Its for the narrative, is he a man or machine, heck even the gravemind cutscene in Halo 2 talks about him being a machine. At the city i live i get payed $9 per hr to erect metal buildings and have to deal with a backwoods boss thats constantly complaining if you happen to take a 10 second break while hes chilling in his truck 99% of the day. Small towns arent exactly always what you see on the hallmark channel.

Yeah, it seems they didnt want to show everything just incase Sony tried to counter them with their own secret event, that they can just counter it back with gameplay of Halo infinite at Gamescom or something, when its more ready to be shown. It seems like they want Sony to show their hand just to counter back. They played it safe and they didnt care about the bad reviews.
While Halo Infinite looks really good, the graphics are a bit inconsistent. The textures are among the most detailed we've ever seen in the game, every single bolt is rendered perfectly, yet the shadows on the guys neck is blurry, which is a minor thing to worry about if the overall lighting looks great(which it does) and if the environments can look exactly like it did last year, well we can see that MS created an insanely powerful machine in Scarlett.
