If its not as profitable as they want its gonna be on the chopping block regardless of what they claim.

Not based on their 20xx line though, those sales are terrible. Every 10xx series card is in the top 11. Thats awful news for nvidia since it means they already got those sales over the last 3 years and no one is looking to upgrade.

Take those blinders off. Bioware had many fails before Andromeda.
ME2- was basically all companion quests, main story WAS bad.
ME3- Gameplay reduced all previous game choices to tally points on a war map, ending so was hated they had to go back and release a revised version (cant think of that EVER happening before)
DA2- Hated from release for its recycled maps and lack of previous rpg elements. Story completely separate from previous game
DA3- Widely cons...

"Complete Edition," interesting name since the final dlc hasn't been released.

This is being spread across all the blizzard forums on reddit.

HGC (bizzards tourney) is canned for 2019 and part of the development team is being moved to other projects (mobile.)
Its a big F U to players and many pros/casters basically lost their job a week before christmas after weeks of silence from blizz..

Everyone who plays blizzard games is starting to question if they will support the company anymore in light of this and of course the di...

I have a Rift, but I'm happy sony's VR has done well, it truly helps the industry as a whole. People just don't understand how big a shift VR is and think that slow progression means its dying. Roughly 3 years is nothing for creating a platform from the ground up, which is what they are doing since nothing just ports over to VR with ease.

"There is not a clear reason to this amount of hate by the players towards Diablo Immortal."

Well Blizzard (a historically pc game maker) announcing a new diablo (an franchise that every game has started out on pc) telling their fans (that have waited 4 1/2 years) that their going mobile instead of pc. Hate seems pretty clear to me.

Might be the last great game they make. If its good, microsoft will monetize it to hell, cut content for dlc, preorder bonuses. And if its bad they'll just dump it, no fixes, no sequels, say gamers didn't support it based on sales.
It's sad to hear that blind optimism: "this helps us improve Wasteland3 & whatever’s up next." "more resources, more testing, etc." As if Microsoft is going to pour money into something without the expectation of gettin...

The announcement video currently has 6k upvotes and 173k downvotes. Hasnt even been 24 hours. I can't remember ANY game crashing and burning this fast. Fans are pissed, but lets be honest blizzard hasnt been the old blizzard for a long time, its really just Activision. Like bioware is really just EA.

Seems very unlikely, but I wish they would. Companies are so quick to throw millions on marketing, seems like they miss out on opportunities like this where much less money could rally huge support and change their whole image. Then again maybe it doesn't matter considering how many times EA has won worst company in America and people still preorder their stuff.

@dumahim Yeah it seems like the story keeps getting updated. Now walking dead is cancelled, that is horrible news.

Wow I had no clue they were doing so poorly. Sad to hear that sales were low despite favorable reviews.

Only good news is from another article: "Reports state once Telltale finishes up with the last episode of The Walking Dead Season: The Final Season, it will close it doors."
I would seriously rage if I don't get to finish the story of clem. Will keep fingers crossed till the last episode actually releases.

GL with any of those. This was talked about when the NES classic first unveiled. Prepare to be disappointed as most of the top iconic games on PS1 were not 1st party and thus sony has rights to re-release them on this machine. They would need to create a new agreement which IP owners would likely try to hard ball the licensing fee making the whole thing not worth it.

Sounds like we have similar tastes, I like those games as well. The newer xcoms are great, I recently beat War of the Chosen and loved it.
Personally I would put xcom above this, as its more straightforward, you research plasma rifles and you get plasma rifles, so the long wait researching gives you the payoff you expect, but that's strategy. Predicable, but rewarding.

@Repjaws The combat actually discourages teamwork between mages and warriors, which is anot...

Good, but overhyped, I liked the first game better. This one is amazing for about the first 1/2 then it quickly spirals downhill.
The randomness of items is annoying, most of the game my items were 5+ lvs below the hero since randomized bonus were better then the strait stat of the current lv item. Meaning finding legendary items was rarely that much better, or the reverse, you would find a random shop right after with something even more OP then said godslayer you just fought a boss...

"This gives everything in a virtual game world – including a player’s investment in time - a real-world monetary value. Something that can be traded, sold or HODLed."
Since when has this ever been something a publisher has been pushing for. If anything it will be another means for them to add unnecessary micro-transactions. Items earned in one game can be used in another...... after you pay to transfer it.

And things like unlocking (side quests, items) sou...
