Greed. Instead of making a game that brings the money in, they chase after the money instead. It started with DX: The Fall, which clearly should have been a followup to HR or standalone expansion, but they see mobile gaming in 2013 made ~$16B, so they jumped on the bandwagon. I played the pc port it wasnt bad, but it was just wasted potential.

I'm all for nostalgia, but this just isn't a good deal. As great as NES games were, they don't hold up too well. I still have a top loading NES in the basement, but just get the roms if I REALLY feel like playing one. Honestly the feeling wears off in just a few hours. I'm betting this system will be collecting dust after the 1st week tops.

Sadly I assumed they were already far along on another expansion, but if theyre looking for "an experienced Game Director" then they'd be really early in development, and with how long it takes blizz on average I cant see them releasing an expansion in 2018-19.
3rd party cards will likely swap the 6pin for 8pin so its only really gonna be an issue for these launch versions and even then a minor one for most users. Still sucks for them tho, bad press is hard to forget.
Yes it will, and if the power gap is close to 4 times like the scorpio/xbone gap, then the ps4 essentially gets a death timer on neo's release. People always want the better version.
Seems like a lot of gamers are forgetting that ps3/x360 was not the norm with an 8 year cycle, in the 90s new systems were ~4 years. True the difference was larger back then, but the ps4 specs were relatively weak even at launch compared to pc standards. If VR really does sweep the industry...
Not really sure what type of game it is, and "action RPG" is such a watered down phrase it means almost nothing at all. If they're smart they will pattern it after Bloodlines, since that is still the best vampire based game to ever come out.
This is great news for everyone. Nvidia needs competition, and while there are pros and cons, this is a very viable option for pc gamers. Many are just not willing to spend 600-700. Personally I'm hesitant to spend alot cause I think nvidia is holding the 1080ti in their pocket, just waiting to maximize profits.
That is exactly what people have been asking since nvidia announced it. A small group of people just wont wait the extra 1-2 weeks for 3rd party cards or actually might need a blower style. Certainly the majority of us will just get a better cooled 3rd party card, likely overclocked, for less money.
If that time was spent playing games he enjoyed I might agree, but this is clear trophy grinding, where many games he likely had little-to-no interest in other than "it's easy to platinum."
