@disagrees: I'm confused then. Don't they know every PS3 game has to look like Uncharted 2, Killzone 2 and God of War 3 or it automatically sucks(or worse, a 360 exclusive)?

LittleBigPlanet sold 3 million copies in about 1 year, 8 months (these figures were announced just recently).
Mass Effect 2 sold 1.6 million copies in less than 5 months (figures above for all to see).
You seem to think it sold that much in the same time frame. Do you have proof to back up your words?

Not that it really matters. God of War was a great game and sold great. If 3D Dot Game Heroes achieves the same succcess, all the better. It would also go to show that the hardcore, 8-bit era gamers still thrive.
But most people are just annoyed (hence the "Lame" reports) because when Microsoft is hit with a lawsuit for anything - be it faulty hardware or "unethical practices" - almost every type of person who's not so much anti-360 or pro-PS3 as anti-Microsoft feels they're getting what they deserve. However, an article stating how Sony getting sued threatens the entire industry will inevitably draw sympathy from PS3 supporters, since...well, they're PS3 supporters aft...
You're absolutely right. I'm sure all of those copies are just lying around in stores, even till now, just gathering dust. /s

Nowadays, DLC seems to be the blanket term for anything that falls under extra content like missions, characters, levels; 'superficial' content like enabling a co-op mode already present on the game disc, skins, alternate costumes; and bug fixes or 'patches' meant to fix the game or clean up any errors. Companies like Remedy were predominantly PC-based. Alan Wake being their first title since May Payne 2, it's not odd to see their still in the PC mindset of releasing patch...
Ah, the memories of playing as Roy, Powered Akira and Kurou, owning every single team in the game (and friends who were foolish to challenge me). The sheer amazing music in the game - still remember the stage music for Akira's school - and the gameplay that resembled Marvel vs. Capcom (without the tag teaming)...Man, if I ever had a chance, I'd pick a Dreamcast and Project Justice up in a hurry.

OT, once again, this is nothing more than pandering to the Sony crowd on N4G for hits. Much like all his other past shows. One wonders when HHG will actually get exclusive content like GT or Game Informer. Oh right, never.
Almost 2 years later and I'm still seeing articles on this subject.
It's not going to happen simply because SE set some nigh impossible standards for how they'd like to go about it. A year to make it? It wouldn't be a simple jump to HD like God of War collection (which I'm confident took more than a year to make as well) - putting the original FFVII in HD is not all that gamers want. And I doubt that's achievable within a year's timespan.
