No love for soul calibre?
Dark Rift and Killer instict weer both amazing fighting games on N64.
But tekken will always hold a special place, as does street fighter because when arcade machine parlors were still around, I spend a lot of time on them.
We miss you too daytona booth... :(
Good to see HHG has gotten over his attention seeking EXCLAMATION!!! titles...oh wait...
Me too, that's the main problem. It's not that Dragon Age was a bad game, it's just that the Witcher was about 500x better. Way better story and combat, and I bought the witcher post enhanced edition, so I didn't experience any quest bugs or other gameplay flaws...not like the innumerable ones in the Witcher. Dragon Age is still bad ass though. It's a shame about those pre-rendered console-ized pre rendered clips that look 10 years behind the in game graphics though... as ...
Bubbles, I'm glad your blog wasn't a pseudo-intellectual post like so many others try to be. Too true about the B.S, fun is all that matters, it's sad that people verbally abuse other people for buying different brand $#!+, people just don't behave like that in real life, it's sad that the internet has provided a soap box for the only children of the world to take it out on everyone else.
Good to see gamertags from 3 platforms, I think you are in the minor...
5 classes + more in the expansions, blizzard has said that they may bring back old classes in the expansions...I anticipate necromancer V2....I liked the druid more but it wasn't very popular
The barbarian seems kind of viking like in this game with his long grey platted beard etc and his gear looks kind of celtic...
I don't even care what the 5th class is, i;m going witch doctor or wizard first, the chain lightning + incinerate beam + teleport looks hella fun
I would be very disappointed if it was the amazon or assasin, or anything like them.
That would mean that the paladin was traded for the monk aka the same thing.
and the necromancer traded for the witch doctor
and the sorceress traded for the wizard
and if any of those other 2 classes reappear that means that a game 10 year later essentially has no new classes, way to innovate blizzard :S
Diablo 2 was horribly dark, no matter what settings you had it on, it was hard on my eyes for any extended period of time, and I don't have that problem with other games, besides magic and special effects...isn't that the staple of any RPG?, I'm glad about the art direction, the game looks graphically awesome.
I don't like the fact that they are forcing you to use 1 character, it wouldn't be a problem if it was like that from the start, but they changed it...no continuity...again, I feel they are borrowing very heavily from the witcher, more so than the first DA...
I always play female PC's...it's all part of the escapism, besides 99% of male character appearance choices look like they have downs syndrome.

What do you think an RPG is?
A role playing game, you play a role and you control the direction. What other game carries hundreds of decisions across the the previous game. That increase the immersion 10x. There were different classes of weapons, weapon upgrades, different classes of powers and power upgrades, leveling, party member loyalty, dialogue choices ( with greater outcomes that most games where the dialogue is separate from your in game actions ), and non linear explo...
Word. Assholes are spread around in real life...in online gaming, they all tend to congregate in the same place.
Why enjoy a game queitly against the A.I when you can abused online by pre-teens and get death threats :S
I loved Farcry 2...

You might not think graphics matter now, but in a few years when games look so dated you don't want to touch them it will, if a game has better graphics then it can retain it's immersion in years when the visual bar of what is considered realistic in games is higher.
I thought Mario 64 was space age tech when it came out...and compared to other games out at the time...it was.
A lot of fad effects are in games at the moment though which don't do an...
So much truth, but the walkthroughs don't ruin games for people, people ruin them for themselves by looking for the walkthroughs, it isn't forced apon them. Sometimes in games I get truly stumped and spending 1hr backtracking to and from the same locations trying to figure out how the hell I trigger the end of a quest in a game, a walkthrough can come in handy.
In RE5, I didn't know wtf I had to do to beat the last boss. It follows you and I made the mistake of g...

Fanboys are billionare executives?, man I better jump on the fanboy band wagon because honestly, I want his kind of success.
I'm no M.S fan, but just so the 12 year olds that think this is funny know. Steve Balmer is a billionaire...I reeeeally don't think he would lose any sleep over it.
