It's a very different game. I don't think I got into it the first time either. But like you I had only put a few hours in.
It has the most mature story of any game i've ever played. You walk around the slums etc or the marshlands and it's raining and overcast and the whole game just sells the atmostphere. Everything from the music to the art style...and awesome voice work really makes you empathise with the story. Most games are shallow...and you are very awar...
Have you played the witcher?...Dragon Age did not play well. It was Ok at best....broken at worst. Mass Effect had it's flaws but I wasn't snoring though the story or combat in ME

That's B.S, cheats or not they paid for the game. If they mean an MP ban then that's only fair, but to block the game from activation so they can't even play the single player skirmish or campaign is insane. I'm sure it's also illegal.

Well there is my explanation for why SC2 maxed @1080p with 4aa looks only slightly better than the sprite based 640x480 original game...coming to a 360 near you!
I didn't buy it for the graphics...but it looks worse than C&C3...wtf is that.

That's a shame. I like it when developers aim to make the best game they have with the goal of making money. I agree with 4 of them.....but deep silver. They might have made a few PC exclusives, but the games the develop or publish are ob dubious quality. The stalker series and sacred 2 are hands down. The most unoptimized games i've ever seen. I always like to hear about different PC games that I hadn't heard of before, and there is an RPG drought on PC right now...so I'll keep an eye out for those other deep silver games, because i'm willing to give them another chance.

I game only on PC and i'm with you on that one. Even steam sucks ass. We get games in AUS sometimes 2 days before the rest of the world...we have to wait 2 days before steam will let us activate it. I have 1 game on steam that screwed up with their latest update and I can't play it. Sacred 2 a game I bought with DRM won't let me install it...the only known fix is to buy the expansion which has a working crack....if anything ever makes me quit gaming it will be DRM. I won't go ...

Wipeout HD actually switches res mid game in order to maintain 60 frame, GT5 is not actually 1080p either, it is some queer non standard res which is less than 1080p ( the abbreviation for 1920x1080 ) it's like 1280x1080. I've got to say that I think the opposite. DA wasn't half the game ME was.
Dragon Age had so many gameplay breaking bugs it was unbelievable.
90% of the character builds were useless.... I won't go on about the bugs because there are so many and i've mentioned it 100x before.
