How about you look at the video, in the very first few seconds...you see those buildings..those DETAILED buildings in the distance? they are a long way away, as are the helicopters...In games like Killzone 2 and Uncharted 2, you can only see as far as the closed off corridors allow...this game is actually open world.
It's the console version, the controls give it away and the FOV is console-ish.
Aka this will be one of the best looking games on all platforms, if not THE best looking game on all platforms.
Let's also not forget that this is an open world game, not some linear shooter...the draw distances i this game are higher than any console game i've ever seen.
You're PS3 goggles are off centre perhaps?

My comment upon re-read sounds elitist, that was not my intention or implication.
My point is that this footage of the console version is amazing. It looks easily as good as Crysis on high ( some aspects resemble some very high settings, like the volumetric lighting ) and it is very very well optimised.
I think console owners underestimating this will be blown away. I can't wait to put my new video card to work when this...
People will be blown away when this releases, this is the console version. The FOV and movement give it away. Anyone who looks at the very blatant gamepad movement of this footage and says it's PC...has never played a game on a mouse.
People always disregard any good looking footage of this game by saying "that's just the PC version"

Fallout 3 is in my top 5 games of all time. But I will never play it again because it is THE most optimised game I have ever played and crashed constantly, no matter what tweaks I use. I have tried every know fix, it runs smooth as butter and I increased the amount of landscape it pre-loads into ram etc...still crashes.

Sweet I bought the C.E and have many of the DLC for this game, but if they ever release a GOTY edition with it all on, i'll be buying that too.
I don't play games just for the graphics. Right now I am only playing older games because i'm sick of shooters. But this gen of console's haven't brought innovative gameplay to the table either...same old shooters same old RPG's. I don't own a 360 or a PS3 because imo the improvement in graphics over last gen is minimal compared to the gen before. Doom 3 on PC in the xbox era looks as good as any current gen game when maxed out...
