You don't seem to know much about John Carmack...the technology used in MANY game engines was created by that 1 man. See developers put new dot points on the features of their engines each gen. Ambient occlusion for example...but do you think epic games etc invent these things? no they don't. J.C is one of the few innovative programmers in the industry who actually pushes technology forward rather than latch on to the flavour of the month. Ambient occlusion, although by another name.....

MMO's have like a 75% failure rate, the only reason they keep trying is because WoW is an example of what's possible when you go all out.

I think steamworks is just the steam profile and achievements. Steam is the program that allows for digital downloads and such...could be wrong.

When they announced a new MK...I thought of the insane possibility of it coming to PC...I dared not utter a word because the mention of it would be treated as those were who believed the sun to be the centre of our universe rather than the sun...it was an impossibility.
Fingers crossed. It sucks that pirate scum pirated SFIV on PC, but I bought and loved it. I bought an overpriced 360 controller just for that game. So my wallet is ready and willing for MK on PC.
