God damn I was happy to hear this annouced. Mostly because unlike was rumoured, it is not an MMO.
Single player gamers just got another solid 5 years from this release. I still regularly play heroes 5...sadly I can't bring myself to play HOMM3 or 4 in windowed mode @480p
Looks pretty good. I've played enough diablo rip offs to know that they rarely match up. But not every game has to be goty...this game looks great and I will buy it for sure. I wasn't expecting this graphical style, they definitelty went all out.

These aren't B.S pics. They look like the PC version....with physx off...and less AA.
Exactly, the only motion blur we experience is when we turn so fast that our eyes cannot take the image in enough to keep it clear...and even a game at 60 frames will do this blurring effect because 60 frames is not enough to maintain a fluid picture when you turn fast in a game.
Human eyes can detect over 200 frames per second. I myself can see a huge difference between 50 and 60 frames, let alone 30 and 60...yet you have people praising addition blur on top of games already...

Motion blur sucks. It is the most gimmicky pointless graphical feature i've ever seen.
You want motion blur...cap the game at 30 frames, there is your motion blur. People that think motion blur makes games look better or more realistic must have chronic eye sight problems or some kind of accute vertigo or inner ear balance problem when they move.

If they have it running @60 frames on consoles looking as good as it does, then I know for damn sure that it will be running @60frames maxed out on PC. Nothing like 32aa to make a game look delicious.
SFIV runs with settings well above what the console version runs, i'm running 32aa and getting over 100 frames in SFIV on PC, lol
It is supposed to be coming out on consoles after the PC launch. THey haven't confirmed it but it has been hinted at...like anvil on someone's head kind of a hint, so yeah it will come to consoles. I'm just glad they put PC first fir this game.

Heard this was coming a month or so back, thought it was just a rumour, nothing wrong with helping get the ATI name out there. Intel still has market dominance, maybe this will help change that.
Truly amazing news. I don't care if it does come to the consoles after the PC release. I don't take $#!+ like that personal like some people do. Exclusivity for exclusivity sake means nothing to me. I am no fanboy. I am a fan of quality though and this ensures it will be an awesome PC first title.
