Co-op based 'horror' = automatic fail.
I loves Fear 2 to death despite what other said, it also looked amazing, this games looks worse in both gameplay and visuals :S
The game support BOTS. That is all I need to know. Every aspect of the online game...you can play offline. You can play with bots on either side of the campaign, you can play LAN with people able to jump in and out mid game, and you can play online with 14 year old foul mouthed trolley-boy sounding douchebags on steam...your choice ;)
+ The game looks like *FUN*, graphics are also pretty sweet.
Half Life series might have been awarded the all time greatest game hero...but uncharted wins in originality, I mean never before has there been a story about a treasure hunter or a shooter/platformer involving such things

Thank god they had sense to put GTA:SA on that list rather than GTA:IV...finally we are getting the big come down from the hype that game did not deserve.

I hate it because it is like being told how good 640x480 is in a generation where 1080p is the minimum standard...there is much better, cheaper motion control or other control inputs eg. gamepad of mouse.

UT3 is the pinaccle of multiplayer shooters, there is like 50 maps in that game some specific to the warfware game mode and others specific to other deathmatch type modes. 20+ vehicles, custom characters, mods, BOT matches, LAN play, Physx on PC...
These days you don't get half that on a game.

nope, the engine does not support it, fraps is free anyway, it's like 2mb, just run it in the background, press f11 to start benching...press f11 again and in the fraps directory there is a txt file, it will tell you max, avg, min frame for the period.

I told everyone not to get too excited AMD said it themselves, this release is an 'efficiency update' I think they are moving from SIMD to MIMD computing ala fermi so despite the obviously cut down 5850 it may well perform on par, which will make things cheaper for AMD and the consumer....but not necessarily more powerful. I'm sure there will be a few custom PCB cards worth looking at. But the 5000 series was a failure.

Steam integration is the main reason I didn't buy it, I'm personally glad I didn't have to suffer through the steam errors that fanboys so frequently deny exist.
This game is proof why you should always wait for the GOTY version of games. Broken games at launch, half the content missing at launch ( with inevitable DLC packs impending )
