They shouldn't be excused, especially on consoles. On PC there are millions of hardware component/OS/driver combinations...on console there is 1 set of hardware per console...if they can't get it working on a 20mill+ budget...maybe they should spend more money/time on the vanilla game instead of the paid DLC development that they cut from the game...
It's a god damn shame that the kids table group can't appreciate a game with heritage like this one.

Money and XP glitches are awesome in SINGLE PLAYER GAMES ( disclaimeer for the only only generation tools )
There is an XP and money glitch in Dragon Age where you can buy an infinite number of herbs from the Dalish, sell them for more elsewhere, or just deposit them in the faction crates for unlimited XP ( privided you have the $'s )

I don't think there should be any first person controlled scenes where you slit someones throat, that is going a bit too far, not that I can't stomach it...it's a f-ing game. But there are people, namely the children of irresponsible parents who's parents buy them games regardless of ratings, who should not see that $#!=.

Hardcore gaming is a f-ing myth, I have been gaming since NES, owning every nintendo console and handels, PS2, xbox, and pc gaming all along, I play every genre of game and I consider myself a casual gamer. If you play games competitively, maybe you can earn that title. Play games online does not= competitively though. If you are a gamer of some renown.
I can get this game for hella cheap for some reason...if someone can confirm there is some kind of offline bot matches, i'll pick this sucker up.
