The Gamecube is my favourite console. It had the most amazing games, Rogue Squadron: Rebel Strike= epic MF win.

I sunk a hell of a lot of hours into gamecube games. Possibly the most awesome part of all. The bonus disk I got with windwaker, that had Ocarina of Time, with upgraded graphics.

The FF francise is one of the best in existance. But they pump out the same formula year after year. Square Enix's time has come and gone. Bioware are the RPG king's, and mass effect was something new, mass effect 2 looks improved in every way over the first. FF13 just like's like the same old.

They're really putting a lot of work into this, too bad i'll never play it because it's a god damn MMO and not kotor 3 like i've been waiting for many years for.

Subscription fee: $30 a month, initial purchase cost: $49.

Not giving money to those greedy pricks that flipped the bird to their entire fan base by stopping a franchise half done ( especially after rushing the last game): priceless

Damn straight. DLC often costs up to 15% of the game cost. If that is the case it should offer at least that % of extra content, each fallout 3 DLC was $15 aus, ( the initial game was $99), there should have been 8 unique hours of gameplay for that price....but there wasn't. Having said that, the fallout 3 DLC was some of the best value DLC there is, so the majority of DLC offers far less value. I wish the old days of PC expansion packs would come back.

My DRM concern is not an overt sense of entitlement. It is the fact that I still have pc games from 10 years ago, and they work as they did on day 1. With DRM, the chances of you having the same game working in 10 years are slim. I would not call a game with an install limit ( limited lifespan) a purchase, i would call it a rental. If they wish to implement DRM, they should charge at a lesser price with 1 or 2 install limits, but for people who buy a game, with the intention of using it as of...

"2000 only",

Australia has the highest suicide rate in the world, i don't think 'only' applies

You also shouldn't judge people's reasons for doing those thing. In Japan their entire lives are competitive because of overpopulation. A typical japanese student could expect to go to a private school, have summer school, home tutors, then mandatory university study. They study and work their entire lives to make their way. They can't just sit on their asses and...

I'm definitely a depressive person. I don't know what i'd do without gaming, and sadly n4g also. I have moved a few times since finishing highscool in 2003, I moved 1000km's from where I used to live, because my gf had to go there for her law degree, I have lived here 2 years and don't know a single person, i'm studying distance ed atm. I would lose my mind if i didn't have games to kill time

That's funny because the few that bought it legit on pc will now have useless multiplayer and will likely not buy another cod game. I understand they need to ban cheaters, but their digging a bigger hole with their alienation of pc gamers.

I don't pirate and I buy all my games retail. Being restricted to using a third party app to play your games is just as bad as DRM. I will continue to buy games until third party apps become mandatory and DRM is included in all games I buy, then the gaming industry and hardware manufacturers will lose themselves about $2000 a year from me, you can't screw over legit customers to stop a few pirates.

If they don't want their games being pirated, make the worth a buy.

I used to buy magazines like 'pc gamer', 'hyper' and and other mags, but I found that they are less informative than free online information. Why the hell would I buy them. If they want sales they need to remain competitive and provide more detailed interviews etc than the free sites. I look at a magazing game benchmark, and they don't even list all the components etc, why would I pay to read that when I can go to 'tomshardware' and read every single detail you could hope for and more

The second DLC cost $'s on pc too. Sadly only valve gives away freebies on pc these days, them and EPIC

it's a shame you can't give negative feedback more often, your button seems to be greyed out

Considering they are charging for it, it had damn well better be good. I'd be more impressed if it was free, no matter how terrible it was, the gesture would mean more to me than a paid for product.

I like steam, but any non valve game that comes with a mandatory steam requirement pisses me off, being forced to use it just gets us closer to a monopoly, and despite it's uses, steam will always be more restrictive than a game with stand alone patches etc.

Dawn of War 2 can go F itself. Rockstar can also shove it's third party B.S up their asses, same with any game that comes with GFWL

I will never buy a game with a mandatory third party app every again.

Well with all the anti competitive things intel does, i'm inclined to agree with nvidia.

Ram prices just went up in aus, hopefully they will come down to the price ddr 2 was at the end of it's life. $200 for a 6 gig kit is pretty expensive imo
