Halo 2's story line wasn't as good, but the action was unbelievable - bigger scale, unbelievable action, and no repetition!

First, I agree about the plasma pistol, it definetely zooms too much, but that's about the only thing in this submission I agree with.

And isn't that the point? The PS3 is 200 dollars more (or 100 if you want to go that route), and yet the graphics look the same, and if anything maybe a little worse.
Casual gamers are going to see stuff like this and think -- Why would I spend $500 when I can get the same/better experience for $300???
And apologists, stop with the porting excuse - there were tons of games that were ported from ps2 to xbox, and pretty much every time, the games looked better on x...

Close_Second -- I'm not quite sure how you can say the graphics were a let-down. Gears of War is generally considered to be the best-looking game ever released on a console... Are you playing it in HD?
mishmosh -- I completely agree - it's really hard to believe Gears is #1. It takes far too long to get into a decent match, and when you finally do, every time you die you have to sit and wait for the match to end! Frankly, I enjoy Lost Planet more than I do GOW.

I get happier with my 360 purchase all the time. If this game really is exclusive (and assuming it lives up to even a fraction of its hype) then it's going to be HUGE. I'm almost as excited for this game as I am for Halo 3.

This game is just plain, old-school, extremely fun, brilliance. I agree with THWIP - the multiplayer rocks harder than Gears of War. The explosions are absolutely unreal. And from the screens and the video that was on here a few days ago, these maps definetely look like a purchase.

The only reason I have a gold account is because of Halo 2. I find it astounding that still, after over a year, no other 360 game even comes close, not even Gears of War.
