Screenshot looks great, but do not expect to see graphics like that while you're fighting dozens of enemies on screen. The dev said the screen is from one of the cutscenes. check the alternate link.

Completely agree. When I got Fable, I didn't follow the day-to-day news of the industry back then, so when I played it, I thought the game was great!
There is a considerable amount of hype for Mass Effect, but from all the previews and the newest screenshots, I think it's going to deliver. Hype is a dangerous thing, but I don't think we have much to worry about this one.
It's way too early to be criticizing the graphics! The video demonstrating the fighting technology (which, to my knowledge, was the only video released prior to this one) used stick figures! The game is very early in developement!
Fable 2 is going to be awesome. I'm really glad xbox has a developer like Molyneux, who's always thinking outside the box. And it looks like he has a lot of tricks up his sleeve for this one. Now all we need is BC!
I never played the original. For those who have- Is the racing similar to Project Gotham style (which I liked, by the way) or is it more of a sim with more customizing?
Mass Effect is going to rock. I really hope it comes out soon. I've been looking forward to this one for a LONG time now.
I've never played it, but I don't think it will be short. The orange box contains Half-life 2 (which I'm assuming is the entire original game) + Episode one + Episode two + Portals + Team Fortress 2 (All for the price of one game I might add). I'd imagine that with all of that stuff combined, there will be at least 30 hours worth.

but the screenshot looks pretty good! And it's the same people who did PGR3 so this could have some potential.
The new version is awesome-- straight/accelerating lines, and starting points... It's so addicting. Probably one of the few games I've ever showed my brother that he actually liked (and is addicted to).
Did the developer say that all 5 games were on one disc? I hope that includes the 360 version. If it did, that would be unreal.
Project Offset has been confirmed for PC, and for a long time, there were job listings on their website for "Xbox 360 Programmer."
PS3 has never been mentioned--either on projectoffset.com, or on any other legitimate news story... That doesn't necessarily make it a 360 console exclusive, but it does put doubt on whether the game is "definetely" coming to PS3.

Because "Kezins," the guy who wrote it, is a moron. Plain and simple. In the article, he says he would support a class action lawsuit against Microsoft if they don't release the Halo Beta this spring. Then the "article" goes on a completely random blather about how he doesn't like playing with kids or cheaters on xbox live, and how he doesn't like the policies of his local videogame store.

about the different style graphics for each console. Playstation seems to use more cartoonish graphics, while xbox goes for more photorealism. Both can have their strengths, but as for me, I prefer photorealism -- just another thing I like about 360.
Oh yeah-- and Mass Effect is looking unbelievable!

What are they thinking??? Why are they making a game like this with gorgeous graphics, frightening atmosphere, incredible non-linear gameplay, and ridiculous sound/water/animation/lighting effects?
Don't these guys realize that there are already WAY too many games on my 360 must-have list?

In the same forum where the developer released the screenshot, he did say it was in-game, but more importantly-- that it was from a CUT-SCENE.
It's perfectly all right to expect this game to look good. But to think that this screenshot is representative of the detail you'll see while you're slashing dozens of enemies on screem, is quite a step beyond wishful thinking.
The game will look good, but not nearly at the level of its cut-scenes!
